Phyllis L This would be considered a "short" skin. Sleeves come just above elbows and legs hit at mid-thigh.

JULIE K Shorties come in various thickness. I have a 4mm for the California coast, and I purchased this 2.9mm for scesuba diving in the British Virgin Islands during July. (I think I've seen 6mm too) It was perfect and very comfortable. I cannot often find shorties with zippers in the front. Loved this suit and highly recommend. Usually I see "skin" suits as 2mm, but this one was not bulky as all. I have not seen a 2mm shorty, but did not investigate a lot because I was very happy with this 2.9mm one.
Shopper Hi,
I just bought the Bare full body suit - 1mm for swimming indoor pool laps. I think the full lenght is going to be too hot. I like this shorty, and love the front zipper, but I am wondering if 1.8mm is going to be to heavy. I am not a diver so I am not familar with these products. Is 1.8mm too hot for the pool?

MEREDITH F You likely just need what is called a 'skin', it is a fuzzy on the inside stretchy fabric suit. You don't need a wetsuit for an indoor pool.
GERALD K My wife has worn this for indoor swimming and she gets overheated.
It is best for spring and fall outdoor activity, eg. kayaking, surfing, jet ski.
