Nicki B The pockets are described as small. Are they expandable?
CHRIS P you'll have plenty of room for small diving accessories, 1 is expandable, other is not. careful with the zippers though, they can break off.
HERBERT D The pockets are much larger than most BCDs.
Steve S There is on expandable pocket. It expands to a very nice size.
AMIRA E Yes one of them is expandable.. You can fit a slate very comfortably in it but the other one doesn't have the expanding feature.. It is pretty sizable for your small stuff though.. Hope this answers your question
lee c Im 5ft 6" tall, weighs 106lbs, chest diameter 30inch and waist diameter 29inch diameter. Should i get the small size or the medium size?Please advise.
PIERRE L Hello, Question is you go diving with a wetsuit or drysuit.
For me I prefer a BCD more tight because BCD moves less on the body especially with weights integrated, I feel more comfortable if I can adjust as well don't forget the bottom of the water becomes less tight.

BILAL ABBAS Z Medium should be fine. I'm 6/1 190lbs and a large fits me just fine.
SANDRO M M/L is a traditional M, that's what I have. If you are usually small to medium but closer to small maybe get the S/M, but if are closer to M get the M/L
Derek H Are all the lift bladders capable of holding 55 lbs of lift or are they different with the different sizes? I am particularly wanting to know the lift capacity of the M/L.

Whats in the box:BCD, LP Hose and Owner's Manual The Mares Hybrid Pro Tec is a giant step in the evolution of back mounted BCDs. The first thing you will notice when donning Hybrid Pro Tec is the perfect fit. This new level of comfort is achieved via special shoulder pads which are longer, pre-shaped and reinforced, and which work in perfect unison with the lumbar suspension system. This suspension system is inspired by the design of modern hiking backpacks; the system avoids direct contact between the body and the tank support. Hybrid Pro Tec features 10 stainless steel D-rings, 3 of which can be slid up and down along the shoulder pads, to accommodate any configuration needs. Made of very tough Alutex material, it will endure any exposure you submit it to and hold up to the test of time. Furthermore, Hybrid Pro Tec is a modular BCD: the detachable vest comprising the MRS plus system is removable, leaving a lean-and-mean travel BCD. The Hybrid Pro Tec maximizes the blend of comfort, lightness and size. Thanks to the grip provided by the rubber in contact with the tank, when open it ensures total stability and comfort of a long backpack, but when folded it's 30% shorter than a traditional backpack. The honeycomb structure makes it 40% lighter than a traditional backpack. BCD comes standard with 3 Pull-Dump/Overpressure Relief Valves, one is incorporated into the top of the Ergo Inflator; another is located on the right shoulder and a third is located on the rear lower right. Activation of the valves are made easy with both the upper and lower right valves coming with pull cords and the valve incorporated into the Ergo Inflator is activated by an internal cable attached to the inflator mechanism. The Hybrid Pro Tec BCD has an adjustable sternum strap with quick-release buckle. A Nylon Webbing Cylinder Strap with durable non corrosive Cam Buckle secures your cylinder to the BCD. This back mount BCD is made of 1,000-Cordura, 420-Cordura and 3D Alutex protection and abrasion-resistant mesh. BCD comes in 4 sizes from X-Small to X-Large with 55 lbs (25 kg) of lift. The Hybrid Pro Tec weighs 9.6 lbs (4.4 kg), comes with a LP hose, Comprehensive Owner's Manual and a 24 month limited warranty.
