CHRIS L Fantastic underwater communication tool. Great for sketching wreck dives or just general communication, easy to use even with heavy gloves on. I wear seasoft 5/7 and have no problems using this.
Shopper What vellum comes with it? Plain or has some pre-printed stuff on it?

Adam H Mine is rather old and came with the plain and a marked one which I don't use.
MATTHEW M It only comes with a small length of vellum. I think there is some preprinted stuff in the beginning, and the rest is blank. Get an extra roll with it, its blank and much longer. Works well, best slate going

ELRON Y Yes, it's a two inch wide inelastic strap with velcro. It works, but you might want to replace the strap with two bungies.

Shopper How deep can you go with this slate?
LESTER R i used it at 75 ft in cold water ,with 7mm gloves.using the pencil and turning the knobs were a little tricky.but a nice idea
WILLIAM Y It works perfectly well at 50 feet. Have not done any dives deeper yet with the wrist slate. Don't see any reason that it wouldn't work to 100 other than a diver writing or drawing something silly due to nitrogen narcosis! Hope this is helpful.
DAVID B I bought this slate for my teenage daughter/dive buddy so we could share some moments. As she was only "Junior Certified" we did not go below 60 feet with the slate but I see no reason why this slate could not be used anywhere within recreational limits of 120 feet. Hope this helps in your decision making.

BLAINE N As this is a solid piece with no gas compartments to equalize it should be limitless. May sqeeze the bungee, no show stopers.
DAN S As deep as you are competent to go. The best thing about this slate is that it has huge capacity to communicate with your buddy or fellow divers. Great product for dive masters and instructors who use a slate that requires much more capacity than a simple 5x7 surface.
