Questions about this item:
Shopper Does anybody know if this is 7mm throughout? or is it like 7mm in the core and 5mm in the appendages? I'm trying to decide which glove/boot/hood package to get
ADAM T This suit is 7mm throughout. I have the aqua lock boots to go with the suit. I use it for commercial diving during the spring and fall. It is a very well built suit and quite warm as well. Hope this helps. adam
ALTAN Y Its 7 throughout. There are aqua lock boots, hoods and gloves that are also sold by Henderson. You can mix and match brands/thicknesses for the boots and gloves, the aqua lock hood has a longer skirt on it than I've seen with other hoods and is made to tuck into the neck of the wetsuit. My DUI hood wasn't long enough to tuck neatly into the neck and keep the water out.
It's a great wetsuit by the way, it's very flexible fir a 7 mm and the cuffs on the wrists on ankles do a great job of keeping the water out. I'm very happy with it.

MYRON M Its a great suit I use for summer diving up here in Alaska.
I am not totally positive on how to measure the sizes on these although the thickness seems to be all the same all over the suit.
The water here is cold as you are probably well aware i use it in fresh water dives i have not been ocean diving in this gear here.
I can say i am rough with my gear and it seems to hold up so far.
i have the aqua lock package and it works well.

MARY C I purchased Henderson 7mm Aqua Lock wet suit/boots/gloves/and hood. Diving in St Lawerence river & Canada- Temperature 37degrees and I was "warm". I hate to be cold so this was the perfect onbe for me. My son bought the same one and could not believe the quality and was also warm - he dives in Canada all year - ice dives in the winter.

I was just wondering if this suit will stretch to fit,the same as the Hyperstretch and Thermoprene do(i wear a XXLG in the Thermoprene,would i order the same size in this suit)?

STAN J yes, the suit stretches the same amount.
JASON T It is funny you should ask this question because I wondered the same question when I ordered this suit in March. I was unable to find any answers and was so pleased with the original hyperstretch that I took the plunge. I would say that the Aqua Lock is not quite as stretchy but that might be because the hyperstretch is broken in. I am super pleased with the new suit and it still has tons of stretch; I was still able to kick above my head. I would defiantly suggest looking at Henderson?s size chart and match your dimensions to that. I ordered the large and it was to large and then ordered the medium and it was to small then I found the size chart and found that there are in between sizes finally ended up with a Med-LG. My previous suit was a large but was always a little loose so I think the sizes are very close. Leisure Pro lets you return your suit or items if they don't work out for you which gave me the peace of mind to purchase it in the first place. It just may take a while to ship back and forth.

Whats in the box:7mm Jumpsuit Henderson is proud to introduce the Aqua Lock wetsuit system. This revolutionary wetsuit system design is the first of its kind to offer interlocking wetsuit wrist, ankles and neck openings which are designed specifically to mate with interlocking Aqua Lock hoods, boots and gloves to form a nearly impenetrable seal which minimizes cold water entry into the Aqua Lock ensemble. The Aqua Lock System begins with the core jumpsuit. One of the most notable visual features on the suit is the Liquid tape Aqua Lock seams. Every seam on the suits is first double glued and blind stitched inside and out. Then the outer seam is coated with a special waterproof Aqua Lock liquid tape barrier which seals the seam from water entry and also helps protect the stitching from damage and unraveling. The 5mm and 7mm core jumpsuits offer special Aqua Lock wrist and ankle cuffs which have been designed to mate with specially designed Aqua Loc_ Boots, Gloves and Hood. The Aqua Lock cuffs feature a soft and ultra stretchy Skin neoprene inner lining which mates to specially designed silicone seals inside the boots and gloves. 3mm Suits also mate with Aqua Lock accessories but the double locking wrist and ankles have been removed since they are not required in warmer water temps where 3mm suits are commonly utilized. The interior of all the core jumpsuits are lined with a Golden micro fleece lining which dries quickly and feels luxurious against the skin. The Aqua Lock suit exterior features Henderson's renowned Aquasilk laminate which is also utilized in Henderson's flagship H2 wetsuit series. Rear zipper entry assures easy use while the PK G-lock water resistant zipper eliminates unpleasant cold water exchange in the spine and lumbar area. Soft, flexible and extremely durable Duratex knee pads and an adjustable collar complete the package.
