Joe S The power inflator has is attached about 3/4 down the back of the bladder. You only have to slightly lean tilting your right side down to move the air to the position. It is very easy and just like with everything scuba, once you figure it out, it will become habit. There is the SMS50 SPort version which has the over the shoulder dump. This works the same as a traditional bc.

DEREK L I have the same problem, the upper picket would fit but the two lower pockets are just plain too small. I travel with it and since the lower pockets won't hold any weight that the dive shop has and I don't want to fly with weights, I just stuff those lower pockets with local coins. I didn't weight how heavy the coins were but it worked. I spent the coins after I am done with diving.

Frank L NO, not at all. I would recommend a minimum of 45# lift, and suggest going with 60#. Furthermore, this is only for sidemount, not backmounted twins.

Jonas S i been diving the sm50 now for a week down in dahab. there are two small pockets (for 1 kilo each) between the little wing thats comes with the unit and the harness. you can attach any other weights on the harness itself. i dived it with 2x11 liters alu and that worked fine. i also tried with 3x11 l alu but that is max what you can use i believe. i highly recommend you to use the sms100 if you want to do tec sidemount and dive with more than 2 tanks. we wrote a review of the sm50 on this link.sidemountdahabdotcom . its an amazing unit and i tried them all sms100, nomad, razor and we also make our own units but the sm50 is my favorite so far among all the ones i tried. buy this one. you are going to love it!!! kind regards jonas samuelsson
