STUART W It doesn't float by itself, but rather comes with a keychain that you can attach to a D-ring on your BCD. So, I guess it does float, in a sense, but only by proxy of your BCD.

Steve S There are no specs showing the buoyancy of the mirror. But it is made of Lexan Polycarbonate which is a type of plastic. Knowing it is made of a plastic, I can only assume that it would float.
