CHARLES H Size 8-9 is 18 " from stem to stern". These are not particularly long fins. One of the things we like about them is they don't over work your legs, but still have good "push" when used vigorously (because of their stiffness, I guess)

JAMES M I use these to do laps in a pool every day. They are excellent and long lived. My last pair was over 7 years old and got use in the Carribbean and on sail boats during all those years. I lost one and had to replace them with a new pair recently. I'm so happy that I was able to buy the same ones. Also, my new pair seems to be better made.

David R The fins are all unisex but the sizes are mens sizes so women would go down a size
