Shopper How does the light turn on; that is, can it be operated by one hand, or do you need to use both hands to turn it on and off?
MARGARET C The top turns. You need two hands to operate it.
SARAH D You twist the top to turn on/off. It would require two hands. It's overall a great light--provides lots of light for the compact size with minimal weight.
BILL N Requires both hands. Twisting lens cap turns it on. Also very bouyant which is or can be an issue. Not as bright as I had hoped.
Shopper Would this light work as a primary for A recreational diver that does occ night dives? Is the angle of the beam wide enough for a primary? Thanks
Monica s It is a pretty focused beam, lights in the primary catagory will have a more wide spread angle than this one. It is 300 lumens so its quite bright, very nice light for the size, however it is more of a focused beam.
