The ALADIN 2G combines the sophisticated algorithm (ZH-l8 ADT MB PMG) with the compact size and accessibility of the Aladin family. This exclusive eight tissue with half times of (5 to 640) minutes algorithm increases safety and optimizes bottom time by constantly adjusting the decompression plan during the dive when risk factors like, fast ascents or the potential for formation of micro bubbles are detected.

PDIS (Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops) optimizes your dive by calculating an intermediate stop based on how much nitrogen uptake your body has endured, taking into account your current dive, previous dives and breathing mixes. PDIS is a unique scientific application for safer technical and recreational diving.

Free Dive (Apnea) mode with unique features specific to the science of free diving, and separate logbook.

Gauge mode: operates as technical depth gauge to a depth of 394' (120 meters), with one-press stopwatch function. Unique in the diving industry, in this mode it displays a continuously updated average depth, which can be reset by the diver at any time.

The Aladin 2G uses the latest in Micro-Bubble Suppression Technology, computer allows you to select one of six micro bubble suppression levels to minimize critical micro bubble formation from single or repetitive exposures.

2 nitrox Mix capabilities allows the programming of up to two nitrox mixes prior to the dive and calculates the decompression status foreseeing the switch to the other gases. It accounts only for the actual switches made by the diver and constantly updates its decompression calculations in case of missed or delayed switches. nitrox compatibility 21 - 100% Customize your MOD and ppo2 max at the time of O2 mix setting (in 1% increments). In case of decompression tanks, set the depth switch based on your personal preferences.

Bookmark function during dive: highlight specific moments with a simple button press and add comments after downloading the dive via Smart TRAK (optional) profile later. Data Transfer & Memory of 100 hours of profile with storage ability at a 4-second sampling rate ensures you will never lose a dive log; high sampling rate preserves all details about the dives. 99 dives on-board logbook, with quick access to basic logbook information directly on the dive computer. The Smart TRAK download system uses infrared technology.

Altimeter: accurately measures altitude to 13,123' (4,000 meters) with a 50' (15.24 meters) resolution. The altitude alarm (patent pending) alerts the diver when approaching an altitude incompatible with saturation status due to a recent dive. Computer is equipped with an active backlight with push-on, push-off function. Customize Audible Warnings can be turned on and off based on personal preferences. The Dive Planner allows planning of decompression dives accounting for two gases; it also allows entering any surface interval in case of repetitive diving for more powerful planning. Safety Stop Timer is user activated, the duration can be set between 1 and 5 minutes (default of 3 minutes). User Adjustable Illuminated Display is an adjustable backlight with durations (2 - 12 seconds) to optimize battery life.

The console model of the Aladin 2G comes equipped with an analog pressure gauge that has a pressure readout from 0 to 6,000 psi. This pressure gauge has a red coded section for reserve air from 0 to 500 psi. The console also has the FS-2 Compass Module that has a 35 degree tilt angle which is easy to read in most any position and can be used in both the northern or southern hemispheres, with floating magnet separate from the compass rose making it perfect for the traveling diver. This durable oil-filled polycarbonate cased instrument has a luminous dial for low light conditions, a rotating bezel with 30 degree increments headings, side view window for easy and accurate navigation, a lubber line and a compass heading indicator. All three instruments are incased in a durable console boot with attachment points for a lanyard or clip. Console comes with a comprehensive Owner's Manual and is covered by a 24 moth limited warranty.
