Shopper Ok - what does small, medium, etc = for size of shoe? Also are these good for scuba diving. My daughter is getting her certification
DANIEL E I believe they have sizes correspondent to shoes sizes on the website. For instance I purchased and xs for a young women who wears a size 6 shoe. Yes they are good for scuba diving, at least for the young woman I purchased the fins for. Also you will need coordinating boots for the fins, and that should be also part of the size calculation.

JANICE P When I used the size chart, I found that the size recommended was perfect. I love my fins they are light and very comfortable and easily adjustable. My boots are a size six so I got a small. I hope this is helpful.

SHANE R I have only used these fins in warm water but the foot box is sized larger to wear with booties.

RACHEL S I don't know for sure. I've only used them in the Bahamas. That said, I don't see why not as long as the bootie is warm.
GRANT W Yes they will, I use them in monterey, Ca which is about 50-55F. Get some good boots and you will be good. :) Have fun diving.

BRIAN W My wife wears a size 7 boot and she found the small to fit best.
BRAD B The foot pocket on these fins is huge. It runs a full size larger than listed. Unless you're fitting it on a drysuit boot (in which case you should be purchasing the original Jets not this fin), err on the side of smaller.
Jaime V I would definitely go with the larger size, that bein as after all the fins are somewhat narrow on the pocket. I wear a 9 size boot and bought the L fins, but later on had to purchase XL size as my rock boots would just not fit. If your spouse prefers the thicker sole boots, then I would suggest going to the S or even consider the M fins. As far as the straps, I would only consider getting the SCUBAPRO straps. These fins are pro grade fins, and the fin straps from SCUBAPRO are a perfect fit and great quatlity.
Jaime V Please disregard my previous comment, I thought I was answering a question about the JET fins, not the JET SPORTS. As far as the ones you are asking about, I bought those for my girlfriend, she wears a size 7 boot and the Small fit her perfectly! I would say that for a size 7 the Small would also fit just right. Sorry for the confusion!
BOGNA P I have the same shoe and got small fins. It is a tight fit so I wouldn't recommend x-small.
DARVIN S Not sure, but the sport fin has a large foot pocket. I'm a size 11 and have XL fins with med spring straps. I could have gone with large fins, but the XL fits ok. I would go with the XS fins if it were me.
RACHEL S Definitely not the extra small. It was too small for me and I have a size 6 boot. My daughter (shoe size 7, I think boot size 8 but I'm positive) was happy with a medium.
Shopper I wear a women's seven shoe and unixex boot size 6 and was figuring on size smal in the Jet Sportl. These must be cut different than twin jets (which actually seem to run smals).. My twin jets in a size small gave me a lot of trouble getting on and off (too tight for a size 6 boot, but Med was too big). So I'm opting for the Jet Sports if I can get a good recommendation on sizing?
Kellyann w You would definately wear a size small. I wear a women's 9 and got a medium. They are to big. This fin has a large foot pocket. I love the fins.

RACHEL S I wear a women's 6 and the small fit me well. My daughter wears a women's 7 and the medium fit her well. That said, eventually I went to a more flexible fix because I am only 5 ft 1 inch (105 lbs) and I couldn't get the control I wanted.
Shopper what size should I get for a girl who weres 10 1/2?
Kellyann w I wear a ladies 9 and got a size m. It's too big . I should have got a small. A medium requires you to have a thick boot. The foot pocket is very large. A medium would be perfect for her. I have never been a small in my life, but this fin runs large. I must say, I love these fins. Very little effort required. Just used then in Cozumel last week. You won't be disappointed.
HOBZ C My wife wears a Men's size 9 shoe, or Women's size 10. I bought her a pair of Medium Jet Sport Fins, and they fit well with a 6mm Dive Boot. Hope this helps.

MICHAEL V For a size 9 (assuming US male sizing) you should go with a medium fin. I wear a size 10 and have to cynch up the heel strap of my large size fins a considerable amount. I do only wear a 2 mil pull on boot with a thin sole, so that might be a factor in your sizing decision if you wear a thicker dive boot. Hope this helps.

I purchased a med-size pair for my son who wheres I size 7 shoe. He has plenty of room, and I believe the fins will easily fit a person who wears size 9.
MARYANN E My husband wears a size 12 shoe and he got the x-large fins which work fine. He likes them.
BARRY G I bought a pair for my daughter and they ran true to her shoe size, btw, she is very happy with the choice.
GRANT W If it helps, I wear a size 10-10.5 boot and the xl fins fit perfectly. I would recommend getting the XL. You might also want to call in the store and talk to someone on the phone and they could help you out most likely. I love my fins, they work really well.

Michael C Yes spring straps will fit this fin. SKU:AQUEZR. Usually the size of the spring strap corresponds to the size of the fin, so if you have a large fin you would use a large spring strap.

Shopper what size for men's 10 tusa imprex 5mm boots? is the foot pocket long, short, wide, narrow etc.? how are they to use, they're obviously not heavy-duty fins?
MARYANN E Got an XL for men's size 13 tusa imprex 5mm boots and boots fit well in the fins. Bought them because I heard they were good for frog kickers - going to find out on our trip 2/12/12-2/19/12. Foot pocket is long and wider. They definitely aren't the heavy rubber fins but seem to be solid enough. Will keep you posted when we get back from our trip and let you know how everything worked out.
Shopper Hello, would the x-small still be too big for a Woman who normally wears a women's US 6.5 and 4/5 men's booty (5mm)? Apparently these fit larger than the sizing indicates?

Kellyann w These fins have a much wider foot pocket. I think you would be fine with the x-small. They are a bit long in length, but over all a good fin.

I think the X-small would work for you. I purchased these for my 18 year old son and husband and first ordered Larges, then exchanged for Mediums. They wear a 9/10 men's booty size. These fins are adjustable and the guys just used them on 8 dives in Grand Cayman and loved them!I would try the X-Small. This company has been great with exchanges and returns. I do think you have to print a form online to do so. They are a nice fin for the value.

JULIE S I wear a women's size 8 and bought the medium in the Scuba Pro Jet Sport. I wear them with Scuba Pro 5mm booties and they fit fine with the straps tightened all the way. I really love these fins and my husband just bought himself a pair!
TIMOTHY N They run very large. I use 8.5 men scubapro boots(thick sole). I normally wear L-XL scubapro fins. With the jet sports, i had to go with a medium. I would guess x-small would be the size. Leisurepro is very quick to exchange if different size is needed. FYI:FOLLOW MY SON &I I LOVE THEM.
