CHARLES I I wear a men's tennis shoe size in Nike 11 1/2 and New Balance 11. The size fins that fit me well were the 11-12 (size large). I originally ordered a size smaller because fins sometimes run big. The size smaller (medium) was too tight. My father is about a foot size and a half smaller than me and they fit him nice and snug. I suggest for your husband he try the mediums. As for your size, I'm not sure what your size translates to in a men's size. I will be using them for the first time in late April. They seem very nice and much better constructed then the Cressi Pluma that I had which only lasted 7 or 8 dives before splitting. DEWAYNE S My wife wears a small, her shoe size is a 9. I bought and wore the large for my size 10.5-11 . They are incredibly light, and strong. I had to order a second pair as mine are currently being used by a dive master in Jamaica who fell in love with them...
ROBERT G Recommend you order the 2 closed sizes and try them both on and return the ones that don't fit. Leisure pro usually has free return shipping on fins and wet suits so you can try different brands and sizes
Cala B I wear a 7-8 women's shoe and the SMALL fits, so you might want to go the next size up, keeping in mind that feet tend to swell when you travel (at least mine do!).
They're great fits, especially for travel, they will fit in the larger carry-on.
MELISSA F We love these fins. We each have two pair (one as a back up or a student). Good reliable full foot fins at a reasonable cost. And if you dive frequently in tropical sandy water, theres no need for boots! If you dive in rocky areas, do a lot of shore diving, or dive in colder water, you might not want a full fin. I wear an 8.5 women's and bought a small. Boyfriend wears a 9.5 men and we got him a medium. Perfect fit. We also have the same fins but with the spring straps to wear with boots. We love them! Good buy! ;)
DOUGLAS B I wear a men's 9 1/2 tennis shoe. I bought the size 9/10 fin. Right out of the box, they were too tight to put on easily and they were uncomfortable once I got them on. I used an empty wine bottle (strange, I know, but it was the right shape) to stretch them out over a few days and now they fit snugly but comfortably.
My wife wears a women's size 10 and the size 9/10 fins fit perfectly.
MICHAEL H They are a good buy for a inexpensive fin. I bought mine as a back up and used them only once. I remember them as being true to size. I wear a 10 1/2 - 11 and I believe I got the XL. It is snug, but not to tight. I have them stored in the Philippines now with a lot of other dive gear. So I do not have to carry them on the airlines all the time.
Funny they are a much better fin. Then the more expensive Scubapro Twin Jet. Which is a worthless fin. So bad I gave mine away. After using them only once. They were wet noodle fins and had no power.
Another good buy for a inexpensive fin is the Mares Avanti HP Full Foot Fins. I have bought about 6 pairs over the years. I bought for myself or for gifts. I am a big fan of Mares fins. I consider the Mares Avanti HP fin. The best bang for the buck. They are a little more comfortable then the Scubapro Jet Sport fin, but the Scubapro Jet Sport is a little more powerful.
CRAIG S I wear a mens 10-10 1/2 depending on shoe brand and I bought a pair of M to wear barefoot, and they worked out well, just snug enough, but not uncomfortably so

MARIELLEN K I bought Small for size 7. According to their chart, Medium will fit size 8-10, so I would say Medium. Chart sizes work for Womens sizes.
VIRGINIA B I wear an 8 and the Small fits me perfectly. I'd suggest a medium. If you're in a time crunch, order both the medium and large and return the one that doesn't fit.

JIM H They measure 23". My fiancee is new to snorkeling and loves them. They were a great value and look to be well made. She says they are light and give her speed and control without tiring her legs. I hope you enjoy them.

Gorkem C I wear number 10 wet suit boots. Should i even try to buy Xl to see it would fit? Or is it not suitable to wear with wetsuit boots?
JOSEPH S I am not sure how well they would fit as these are not meant to wear with boots.

KYUNGWOON P I think you'd better wear the fins with socks, if you want to protect your feet. The reason why I use the fins is that they are light and the socks are easy to dry up. I have usually used these fins for travel by plane.

Bill M You can't wear foot fins with wet suit boots. I suggest you either go with a large in the full foot fin to use with bare feet, or go with a large in model designed for use with wet suit boots to use with boots.
M A I don't know of anyone that wears wetsuit boots with these. The point of buying these is that they are very comfortable with your bare foot, mainly for Caribbean and similar diving.
ALISON D you can not wear these over neoprene boots. you need to buy open heel fins with a stap.
Frank E I just received these and they are too tight a fit for my 11 wide foot. I ordered the large and they are marked 11-12. I am tempted to try the XL 12-13 but I imagine I'll still have a width issue. Anyone with any wide foot recommendations?
KENNY P I have the xl with a size 13 foot my dad has the L with a size 10 1/2 foot got them mixed up once and his is more narrow than mine as well as short. Leisure pro has great customer service so if the xl is to narrow for you then I am sure they will take them back.

JON E I don't know why LeisurePro doesn't just list the numbered sizes, they're printed right on the heal of the fins! I wear a size 9 shoe and I wear a size large fin with a 1 mil sock. My wife wears a size 5 shoe and uses an XS with a 1 mil sock. Great fins.

SARAH R I got the medium for a womens 9 and they just fit (I would guess they would fit up to a 10.5-11 womens). If smaller than a 9 I would go with the small.

MY DAUGHTER ALSO PURCHASED THESE FINS FOR A GIFT SHE WAS VERY PLEASED AS I WAS WITH THE 3 PAIR I PURCHASED.
STEVEN G Neither, the biggest you can get in these is a 6.5. You can cram a bigger foot in there, but the fin will be too small for thrust.

ANDREW K You might want go one size larger, size 11 in your case.Scuba socks can make up the difference. I have found the jet sport fins to give more thrusts than my old jet fins.

ZENAIDA Q I am a size 9 1/2 to 10 and the extra large fits me well. It is a little loose but that is the way I like it since i sometimes wear neoprene socks when the water is cold.
EARTH L I ordered a 11-12 since I am an 11.5, They were a bit loose but I did not have booties on. I dont like booties but climbing a round rung ladder getting back onto the boat convinced me I should look into some. So, you should consider whether or not you are wearing booties.
GARY H My son is a size 13 and he fits well into the extra large. A 9 - 9/12 should do well with the medium.
MIKE R I would suggest Large. If too big, he can always get a neoprene sock to wear over them. Better to be a bit large than too small, as that can cause cramping.
