Questions about this item:
manolis p Does it come with Transmitter ?
JOE B YES
manolis p I am sorry to ask you again. I asked the same question to SCUBA.COM and they answerd me that this computer does not comes with Wireless Transmitter. Are you positive this Oceanis OCS Computer comes with Transmitter ?
JOE B I guess it depends on the model. I bought a VT3 and it came with transmitter. The seller will be the one to tell you for sure. Call Leisure.
Shopper How does the size of the face compare to the Oceanic GEO 2.0?
Do you sell replacement bands as well?
David R The size is abou tthe same as the Geo
DAVID W I have owned the Oceanic Geo in the past as my first dive computer - which is why I returned to Oceanic and excited by the new model. The size is nearly the same - if not dead on the same size as my old Geo. I did however find some of the functions (such as the time of the dive) were not immediately displayed on the first screen but required me to push a button to access a secondary screen while diving. Now I have only dived the new watch 4 times in the Florida Keys last month so this could still be a watch setting that I haven't discovered yet. But I did like being able to match the dive table to my dive buddy. As you may know the Oceanic tend to have a more liberal recreational dive allowance as compared to others such as the tables used by companies like Suunto.
Other than the need to change screens while diving as some information wasn't displayed immediately it has the other parts I really enjoyed about my previous Oceanic including size of the watch and clear display. And it is a really good looking watch out of the water - not always typical of dive computers.
Owned in the past: Tusa Zen, Oceanic Geo, Suunto Mosquito

Galileo was a great scientist who was ahead of his time in many schools of thought; the people at UWATEC have paid him great homage by naming their cutting edge dive computer, the Galileo Sol, after him. The Galileo Sol dive computer boasts of great technical advances that would make Galileo proud and maybe a bit jealous. It is no secret that each dive is different and taxes the diver slightly differently. The Galileo Sol is the only dive computer with the ability to track the diver's heart rate and calculate how it will affect the dive namely air consumption and decompression requirements... more
