I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
Good knivie for the price. Not worth spending twice the amount for a Titanium model.Sharp, effective and the sheath and straps work well. Minor rust formed inside the handle which is removable for cleaning and rinsing ,but not on the exposed blade. Have used this knive for 4 years
After watching a $250 titanium dive nife fall into the rocks on a jetty, I would say price was one of the big reasons. For the price, this is a great knife. It does rust a bit, but it is a metal object that is being placed in a salt water environment......it will eventually rust. I use mine for spear fishing and collecting rock scallops. The pointy end is obviously for fishing and I like the handle end for knocking the scallops off. If you are looking for a good tool, this knife is the ticket. If you are looking for a show piece, spend the money for titanium.
Feel freee to contact me with any more questions and Happy DIving!!!
the price is right and it does everything I need a knife to do. Also, if I happen to loose it on a dive (which I have done before) then I am not upset at replacement. It has preformed nicely during my spearfishing in Puget Sound.
This is one bad a$$ knife. Big, and heavy duty and with a sheath that locks the knife in place so it doesn't fall out. It needs to be kept clean and dry with some corrosion protection to keep it like new. I use my knife every week diving and I bought two more for my Spearfishing Club raffle items, Lastly the price is right! Buy it and you will be happy.
Size was what I needed and price was good. Knife is all one could expect. JSS
Good price. Convenient size
I needed a fairly inexpensive primary knife. This knife is a good size and weight, and has a good blade, but I've seen these rust pretty badly if they aren't taken care of. But it comes completely apart for cleaning.
BEST KNIFE I EVERHAD,BEEN DIVING OVER 1000 DIVES
ITZ AN ALL PURPOSE KNIFE. HAMMER BUTT, FINGER MOLDED GRIP,LINE CUTTING NOTCH, SERRATED EDGE, STRAIGHT EDGE KEEN ENUFF TO SHAVE WITH, LOCKING POLYCARBONATE SHEATH. TO BE HONEST, I DON'T SKIN DIVE. I USE IT FOR FISHING AND CAMPING.
It was cheap. It's a decent knife but it didn't take long until my started to rust. I guess if you rinse and then dry it afterwards it will last a while and is a decent knife for the money. I still use it a couple years later.
