Shopper Is it really 12" long?! So, it definitely wouldn't fit in a BCD pocket... Any recommendations for shorter lights in the 200-250 lumens range? I was hoping for something smaller, but want it to be bright. I have a "big" light but it can be cumbersome. Thanks!
JAMES L It is 9 inches long and fits in my Zeagle Ranger side pocket perfectly.
If you want something smaller try the Intova mini torch, I have 2 of those and they are great little lights.
I use those on my Intova camera tray with my Gopro and SRP blurfix housing.
Shopper Can you please tell me what the length of this light is? Also, what type of batteries are used and how many? Thank you!
MICHAEL S The length is about 6 inch and use two CR123 batteries and last about 10 hours.
JAMES L It is 9 inches long and uses 3 "C" batteries.
You unscrew the head all the way off to install batteries and uses 2 thick o-rings to stay water tight.
You turn it on by twisting the head full left.
And then switch to high or low beam and flash SOS by turning the head right about an inch and then left again.
This light works well and is plenty bright.
Battery life is pretty good also.
JIM C The light takes 3 C cell batteries. I don't know how long the light burns because I have not had to change the batteries yet.
MICHAEL S The light is roughly 12inches long and uses 3 "C-sized" batteries. The batteries last pretty much all season (I had 58 logged dives last year) and the light is a bright white. I would buy this light again.
