Shopper How does it attach? Does it come with something or do you have to rig it up yourself?
ROD N It has a belt loop attachment point. My zeagle BCD has internal straps that I wove through this pocket.
Brett H It attaches to any 2" webbing, be it a tank cam band or a waistband of a harness etc, even a weight belt.
arrick c Can I mount this on other brand's BCD or a harness? Will this hold a bigger bottle like a 6lb pony bottle?
GREGORY P yes, you can mount this on any BC, however, it will not fit any cylinder larger then the Spare air bottle. Your 6lb pony will not fit!
MICAH B I didn't mount this on my BCD. I put it on upside down and attached it to my tank. It is a designed for the 3 CF bottle and it a snug fit. I don't think it will fit any bigger bottles. Hope this helps.
LUKE A It uses grommets to attach so if the bc has grommets you can probably make it work. It will not hold anything larger. I've been using it for 2 years and due to the weight of the spare air out of the water, the pocket it tearing at the top grommet but still holds.

Having a safety back-up air supply has many advantages over a standard alternate air source. We are taught to stay with our buddy so that in case of an emergency they are right there ready to help us. Next time you make a dive count the times your buddy is further then arms length from you.
