Shopper What is the life span of the DIN Yoke Valve?
IRA H Unless you abuse it, many years. You can also get parts to rebuild the valve.
STEPHEN S Thermo is a top quality valve, should last a lifetime. The seals will have be replaced if they start to leak, it is easy to do and odds are it will not happen. Thermo is what I use for single and double tanks and have never had any issues.

Frank L We don't currently have the dip tube available. You could get it from a dive shop.
MARSHALL O You can get a dip tube at any dive shop.
IRA H I think you are asking about the dip tube. If so it's a repair part and you should be able to order it.

RICHARD D I normally let my LDS deal with stuff like that, so I can't be sure if it is interchangable, but I would think that valves would be interchangable between tanks. You might try Googling or call your LDS for a more definite answer. Sorry I couldn't be more sure about my answer.
JOHN J I put my valve on a steel tank, but I suppose it will fit on an aluminum tank.

The Thermo DIN/Yoke Pro 3442 psi (230 bars) is no exception. Valve is made of Marine Grade Brass with triple bright Chrome Plating for long life protection in salt water. Precision Machined from high tension brass and chrome plated valve stems for years of service and corrosion free operation. Valve is factory cleaned for pre-blended Nitrox up to 40% FO2. All O-rings are Viton and EPDM material and are lubricated with Christo-Lube MGC-111 Lubricant. The High-Pressure Seat is Nylon assuring the diver safe use with Nitrox. Easy Grip soft rubber hand wheel with stainless steel insert ensures long life and large ribs make turning handle easy even when wearing gloves. Valve bonnets are copper crush washer sealed. Standard yoke outlet with 1/4" hex spin-out adapter converts to 230 bar DIN outlet, Service pressures: 3442 (230 bar). Valve is equipped with a one-piece safety plug, has a 5/32" hex wrench Dip Tube for positive retention and 3/4" x 14 NPSM inlet threads which fit nearly all DOT aluminum and modern steel cylinders.
