Keeping warm when diving can be one of the most difficult things to do. If you wear a dry suit you can remain warmer for longer periods of time then if you wear a wet suit, but even a dry suit can allow you to have heat loss. One way to increase the retention of body heat in a dry suit is to use argon gas to fill it rather than air or nitrox. Argon is a great insulator, being heavier then air or nitrox argon will keep you warmer longer.
XS Scuba's Highland Dry Suit Inflation Kit can increase your bottom time by keeping your breathing gas for just that, breathing and it also can increase your bottom time by keeping you warmer. Kit comes complete and ready for use. Kit is easy to install and includes an 8.4 cu ft low pressure 2,015 psi (237.9 liter/139 bar) Aluminum Catalina Cylinder which is CGA Color Coded for Argon Gas Only, with warning stickers. XS Scuba's DIN/Yoke Pro Valve completes the cylinder assembly. To attach your argon system to your primary cylinder system Highlands Pony Mount which is made of (Grade 316) Stainless Steel and attaches directly to your standard 2" (5.1 cm) Cylinder Band and will fit from 6.9" to 8.0" (17.5 to 20.3 cm) diameter cylinders without the use of hose clamps.
Attached to the cylinder valve is a factory set 120 psi (8.27 bar) IP compact simple Fail Safe Flow-By Piston Designed First-Stage Regulator equipped with a Over-Pressure Relief Valve mounted in a LP Port for added Safety. A Mini Tech Gauge is also attached to the first-stage with a 0-5000 psi range of reading. To complete the assembly you also get a 22" (55.9 cm) EZQD Hose and Delrin DIN Cap to protect the first-stage when not attached to the cylinder.
