Lauren S When you are using this do u have to rinse it out in the pool or in the sink?
NAUM S after applying it with your fingers by rubbing gently into the mask, rinse off the excess, rinse lightly by dipping the mask in and out of the water once or twice (no fingers). use it with each dive. if the mask still fogs up, clean the glass with toothpaste and toothbrush to get off the residue built-up, before applying spit.

DAVID M I get best results when I:
1. Saturate the inside lens pretty well and let it sit for 5-10 min. (keeping the inside of the lens facing up so the liquid "pools" a bit)
2. After waiting just give a real quick rinse with water, pool or sink. Just enough to wet it and get the excess product out.
3. Bring the bottle with you when you go out. If you're getting fog after a while, spray a bit more when you can surface and just rinse it out with the water you are swimming in.
TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST THE BEST ANTI FOG IS "NO MORE TEARS" BABY SHAMPOO. I DONT WANT TO LIST A BRAND BUT IT LITERALLY DOESNT MATTER IF IT GET IN YOUR EYES. DILUTE A LITTLE IN WATER, PUT IN A SPRAY BOTTLE, AND SPRAY THE INSIDE OF YOUR MASK BEFORE YOU GO DOWN. SORRY TO TALK ABOUT ANOTHER PRODUCT HERE AND YOU CAN REMOVE THIS SECTION IF YOU WANT BUT, FOR THE SAKE OF HELPING YOU OUT, BABY SHAMPOO IS THE BEST ANTI FOG YOU CAN BUY.
DOUGLAS D If you spray a very thin even layer, then no; however, as with most antifogs, you usually get better results if you dip your mask in the water (salt, fresh, pool, or otherwise) after application and before you descend to depth. For scuba, I actually keep a bottle of the Jaw Spit Antifog Gel in my pocket during dives since it is so viscous that you can actually apply it underwater with decent results.
JAIME R Love this stuff... when out diving, I put this on my mask about 5 minutes before I dive... then one simple dip in ANY water and pull it back out, READY TO DIVE!!! I highly recommend this stuff over other de-foggers.
Shopper Will this product work on sports glasses used for playing football, and how well and how often should it be applied?
Shopper will this product work on motorcycle shields? will it help with visibility in rain and fog? I'm looking for a product that works on plastic shields.
LeisurePro S This should help prevent fog and may help water roll off easier on plastic shields. For any anti fog to work it is important that the surface be both smooth (eg. no pitting or scratches) and clean. I am not sure if a diving defog is the best choice, but it is probably better than nothing.
