Shopper Im in Australia with 240volt power can i use this product straight out the box without any adaptors?
ERIK E The adapter that comes with the battery is made for a US plug and 120 volts / 60 hrtz power system. The adapter plug is universal so you can buy your own adapter in Australia. Just call UK Kinetics customer service and ask what the correct voltage input should be as well as the polarity.
ALBERT K No, the charger that comes with the battery operates on 120 VAC and would require a transformer/converter to use with 240 Volts. These should be readily available in Australia.

The Adapter comes with a standard 2 prong flat blade plug which is the standard outlet here in the USA.
In short the Adapter indicates that it will handle your 240V
I just dont know what kind of wall outlet you have again this one only comes with the 2 prong flat blade type.

DAN D I purchased this battery and it came with a charger electrically rated for 120-240 volts and 50 to 60 Cycles. Therefore, electrically, it will work with your utilities system. However, the unit came with a two prong flat blade plug. This is common in the USA and some other locations....but not likely compatible with plugs found in Australia. With a plug addaptor it would probably work. So the short answer is, electrically it will work, but the plug my not fit Australian outlets. All that being said, it's the power supply they sent with the battery. If they change power supplies, then all bets are off. Hope this helps.
