Deb W How and where does this knife attach? On the BC? On the leg with straps?. I'm looking for a knife in this price range that attaches to the BC. I don't seem to see in the description, how it attaches. Maybe I just can't see it.

It's a good knife, and has straps to attach to the leg. Not sure if it can be modified to attach to your BC, or maybe just use zip-ties to attach the sheath to your BC. Good luck and happy diving - Happy Holidays!

The zip ties should work, however, the knife is pretty heavy, so might be a bit heavy on the inflator hose. There's also a 2-finger release mechanism that makes it perfect for the leg, but might make it tricky to release from the inflator hose. Hope that helps - Happy Holidays!!
STEVE J It attaches via straps to one of your limbs. Two adjustable rubber straps come with the knife.
Not sure why you would want one that attaches to the BC to be honest. When you need to use a knife it is easy to remove it from the holster when it strapped to your leg. And easy to put it back. On the BC would be tough to find I reckon. Also risky that you might stab the BC with it when trying to put it back.
Hope this helps.My sons and I have one of these Blue Tang knives each, and love them. They come apart so you can clean them too.

ROBERT R The knife comes wth a nylon/velcro strap that goes above the calf and a rubber strap with quick release that holds the tip to the leg. Works well, but tends to slide toward the front of my leg as I dive prone. That isn't a problem as it is easy to get at with either hand. Can be attached to a BC, but you will have to engineer the fit. Can be made to fit your 2 inch web belt on BC or weight belt 9break out plastic bits). Other positive features are a very sharp and corrosion resistant blade and assembly that avoids any metal-metal contact to eliminate galvanic corrosion and easy disassembly for rinsing salt out of any possible crevice. It is my favorite full-size knife.
