JEANNE W It appears that the Aqualung Traveler series 850 rooler duffle bag is not water proof. The 850 duffle bag has the following features:

I think this is a great travel bag and I recommend it to all my traveling dive buddies. I specifically use this bag when I am on crusies, rolling my dive equipment to the gathering site.

ALAN M I believe that it is. I haven't used it yet since I have been home, but the material it is made out of is consistent with a bag that would be waterproof.
KEVIN N I think a better description would be water repellant. The exterior is like heavy vinyl so if it's splashed or misted with water your gear would stay dry. But if it sat in a puddle I think the water would slowly seep through the material over time.
TODD A I dont think it's waterproof. It's not really a boat bag. It's too big for a boat bag. Great for travel though. I took to to St. Martin. Was able to carry all my gear and clothes fro a week and still stayed under 50 pounds.
MICHAEL H Certainly water resistant; don't believe it's literally waterproof. That said, mine's certainly been in some heavy rains at airport tarmacs and still kept my equipment dry.
MATTHEW S Definitely will repelled water. I believe it is waterproof up to submersion.
DAVID H I don?t believe the bag is water proof. Water beads up on the bag but may soak in after awhile. I just took the bag to the Philippines and back. The bag held up well through five airports. The bag could use a handle on both ends of the bag. The closure that holds the straps together is a little weak and pulls apart easily. The bag has fin pockets that are large enough for my Atomic split fins and the sides are padded. The bag is large enough for a full set of gear and room to spare for a few souvenir tee shirts. Hope this helps.

TRACY W No, it's not a dry bag if that's what you mean. It'd take rain, for a limited time, but it's not going to keep your stuff dry if it falls over the side off the boat.

MICHAEL G There's plenty of space in this duffle. I easily fit snorkel, mask, fins, as well as 7ml wetsuit, towel and extra set of clothe's. Really sturdy bag.
JAMES H Great duffle bag. Good capacity - even fit drift fins and all my gear along with some clothes. Used for one season and it seems to be holding up well.
MICHAEL K I only used it on one trip to Florida. It worked well. It is very big. The bag held all my dive equiptment plus other clothing. Be careful not to go overweight. I took a smaller mesh bag for equiptment on the dive boat. I would buy it again. Good luck and "GO STEELERS"
IAN F Works very well. My only minor complaint is that the fin holders on the inside are a bit snug for my rather large fins. I've been very happy with it.
TODD A I am very pleased with the Aqualung 850. It held all my gear, 3mm wetsuit and clothes for my trip to St. Martin. It still came in under 50 pounds. It's roomy, and the fin sleeves made it easy to organize everything. I've only been on one trip with it, but it seems durable. the wheels and handle make it easy to maneuver around the airport. The duffle handles make it easy to load and unload into a vehicle. I love mine.

MICHAEL H Very happy with this bag; good quality and functionality. I find it the right size for one full set of dive equipment, including several wet suits, which is perfect for me since my wife doesn't dive. Go to the next model up if you need it for more equipment or two sets of gear.

I was at first concernrf it wouldn't fit all gear buts a bit deeper than my last bag., I am a dive master so I tend to take a lot of gear.
It fit everything , and I had room to spare. It is soooo light and easy to roll and carry. I would highly recommended this bag!
