Shopper Is aqualung caravelle a good selling name brand?
KELLY B I bought three pairs of these total, one of which I use myself. They are lightweight, easy to adjust in the water and out, and make it easy to extend your kicks without bending your knees, which is especially helpful for new divers. I have had no problems with them and they store well without cracking or discoloring. As for whether they are a good-selling name brand, I would assume they must be, as most of our fellow divers use them as well.
ERIK S I can't speak for the industry, but I have been nothing but happy with all the AquaLung products I have purchased. These Caravelle fins were purchased as replacements for another set I lost in an accident abalone diving, and they have served me well. High visibility and a good kick to them!

I am very happy with my dive fins, but they are long - over 2', so if you are looking for shorter fins to pack - you may not like the length. I usually carry my fins on with my reg, so the length doesn't affect me versus a packed bag.

Cindy M What size fin for a woman shoe size 8-81/2 with a 3mm boot?
JAMIE G I wear a 7.5 to 8 shoe. When I were my 3 mil booties they fit fin. The boot cup is a little deep. The straps snug up enough to fit great.
JAMIE G I got the regulars. With my 3mil booties they fit fine, The straps snug down enough to fit.
TIMOTHY C I bought a pair of "Giant" sized for my son (size 12-13 shoe) and they were roomy with 3 mm Tusa dive slippers (which have a substantial sole).
For my wife, size 8-9, I bought a pair of Deep See Aqua Glide snorkel fins, size 9-12, and those worked out quite well with a similar dive slipper.

Shopper how to tell between a man and woman fin?
NANNETTE M I purchased these in a Size Regular. I wear a size 10 in womens shoes, they were too big. I sold them to my son who wears a size 12 in mens shoe. You really can't tell if they are for men or women. The biggest thing is to make sure if they are unisex that you be sure to order the small for a woman. I just purchased another set of AquaLung Open heel Fins in a black and hot pink I got the Small and they fit perfect. I have used them all week and absolutely love them. They flex and fit just right. They did not move around on my feet so I did not get over fatigued by using them for long periods of diving. I liked these fins as well they were just too big and wide for my feet.
GARY M Unless otherwise stated it will be in a mans size. I would suggest you go to the manufacturers web site and check, but most of the time it will be men's sizes.
LEO Q Besides color and preference there is really no difference between man and woman fin...Some fins are made pink which is a preferred color for females but if a man wants to wear pink fins then they become unisex again. In other words, just pick a set of fins that you are comfortable with and that fit you right and go with it.
