Stacy K Can you tell me how rapidly the strobe flashes?
JOHN S a little slower than a turn signal on a car
ROB T It flashes about once a second or just a bit longer. It works well and I am happy I purchased it.
CLARKSTON P We have two. One blinks about every 2 seconds. The other is a little slower - maybe 3 or 4 seconds between blinks.
ARLENE S The strobe flashes very fast; I guess every second. Its LED flashes for 300+ hours on 3 AA batteries. In addition the lamp is rated for more than 10,000 hours.
HARVEY C Roughly 2 flashes per second, IIRC. It died last year. Note that this is not a real strobe (xenon bulb fired by capacitor)-- just a single flashing LED. Virtually invisible in daylight.
Shopper is this just a strobe or a strobe/ flashlight combo?

EDWARD N It's strictly a marker. Nice, though, when you're navigating a wreck in Lake Erie with 15 foot viz, or doing a night dive. I use it occasionally as a secondary strobe, if I wander from a reel line. The bigger ones (not the biggest, the second-largest) is an awesome strobe. The largest one seems to have quality issues.

HARVEY C It is an LED "strobe". Really just a flasher. IMHO not bright enough to be called a strobe. I used it as a marker light on my bicycle until it died. I use a real xenon strobe for diving.
JOHN B This is just a strobe for safety use. I keep mine on my BC attached to the hose strap for the power inflator. I would only turn it on at night if I couldn't see the boat when I got to the surface.
