Sergie M I already have a mask and was wondering if it would be possible for me to somehow shape this product to my mask? I don't know what material it is; if it's plastic i can x-acto out the parts that don't fit. Is this possible? (I don't need a perfect fit, just trying to save some money.)
JIM O Possibly if you clearly mark the lenses to the correct size then make your cuts. Sounds difficult though!
DOUGLAS D I do not believe you will be able to "shape" these lenses for a different mask. The edges are designed for one model mask and I can't see you being successful in your modification. The price for the Tusa mask will be well worth your frustration in getting the wrong lenses to fit.

DONALD L No, you cannot reshape the lens. They are made for specific mask. I you try to cut them they'll never fit.
BRAD S Depends on the type of maks you have. I was told that it would fix my current mask, which was a high profile, 7 windows mask. However it did not. I had to order a new one that was a low profile 2 windows mask. I love it because I can see better, however I hate it because it only has 2 windows to look out of.
The plastic is a very hard plastic, so I would ventrue that you will have a tough time customizing it. It would be best to make sure you can find a mask that it will fit in and run with it!
MARTIN F I think that you'll have leaks and that you'll be unhappy. You would be better off with a new mask, not necessarily an expensive one, with lenses that will fit well.
ZORAN B I do not believe so...the shape of corrective lenses is such to fit certain shape of your mask...but here is an advice... if you already have a mask which you like you may go to your eye doctor and instead of getting regular glasses you ask him to attach prescription lenses to your mask . I did that once ..they glued corrective lenses to inside glass of the mask and it worked great...I am not sure about the cost though. That was 15 years ago...
GARY L I bought the Splendive mask with my original SCUBA equipment in 1998. I purchased a new Splendive mask in 2009 when my first mask began to leak around the lens/mask interface (after 11 years of service and many dives); the thing is, you do need a perfect fit. First, without a perfect fit, the mask will leak, rendering it useless. Second, this is safety equipment. Saving money to force lenses that are not meant to fit the mask you are using is not a wise decision. The lenses are a very hard polycarbonate material that can only be cut with grinding equipment. The mask cannot be cut as the surfaces that come in contact with the lenses are the water seal.
ALEX K Unfortunately my experience leads me to say no. The product is tempered glass which I attempted to shape with a grinder tool (Dremel style). The piece shattered...experiment failed. Perhaps someone more experienced at grinding glass could accomplish the task but you still have the problem of lining up the lens inserts with your eyes.
I ended up ordering a full perscription mask from SeaVision. Good luck!

My advice is not to reshape any lens; you won't get a good seal and a leaky mask isn't worth it no matter how cheap.
The material of these lenses is pretty tough and the edges are bevelled inorder to snap in with the rubber gaskets on the mask.
If you were to try shaping them, you'd need something like a Dremel (sanding not cutting). But be careful not to scratch them. If you used some sort of caulk, you could get by with snorkeling, but they likely won't stand up to the pressure of diving.
Check around the web for some coupon codes. Using one will bring the 2 lenses and the mask to less than $100 easily.
