Shopper How long does the gauge have to be at a particular depth to provide a depth indication. Will it work on very short, free dives? lasting only 1-5 minutes?

MARKUS H I also use this gauge for freediving. The gauge responds more or less instantaneously. I guess the response time is a fraction of a second.
BRIAN C The gauge works instantaneouly. I free dive so I understand what you are looking for , the only thing you need to know is that the guage is in metric, meters, not feet.

WILLIAM D Gauge works instantaneously and is very accurate. I use it diving with a hookah machine and I like the ability to know how deep I am at all times. Large dial, easy to read, would recommend to a friend and I never dive without it.
