Kirsten S I have a small (womens) Aqualung Sea Vest. One of the weight pockets is gone, how do I know if I should get a 10 pound or 16 pound pocket?
HARVEY C The Aqualung web site has a page with a complete list of what Surelock II pouches fit what BCDs. It includes the following:
"SureLock?II Weight Pouch (10 LB) compatible with:
Pearl, Pearl i3, Dimension i3, Lotus i3, Balance, Libra - All sizes
Axiom, Axiom i3,Pro QD & Pro LT ? Sizes: XS, SM, MD, ML"
You don't say what model your BCD is, and I do not know if it is compatible with Surelock, Surelock II, or both. I suggest contacting Aqualung.
STEVEN H Okay, let's start at the beginning. If you have a seaquest surelock system of integrated weights pouches and you have a small size, you will use the 10# pouch. It has to look exactly like the one the L. P. is showing on this window that will work for your bcd. Unless you have a black diamond bcd. The black diamond takes the 16#pouch.
There is a older version that uses velcro to hold it in. That is not a surelock system. Look at the remaining pouch and order that same one.

LYNN L The 16 lb pocket is for the XL size. If you have a small size, you want the 10 lb pocket. That would give you 20lbs of weight, plus up to an additional 5 lbs in each of the upper back packets. If you are small, it is unlikely you need more than 30 lbs when you dive.
R J Check your remaining pocket. The small ones only take one "row" of weights, the larger one has two sub-pockets and will hold two "rows" of weights.
lukasz t Would this weight pocket work with Cressi, Travelight BCD? I've lost one and find it incredibly difficult to find replacement.

STEVEN H No, it will not work.
BLAIR W Looks like it. It appears that the locking mechanism is similar. Leisure Pro shoulld be able to tell you whether it will or not. The reason that I replaced one of mine was because I was "dunking" my BC in the water, prior to putting it on a tank, in the wake of the dive boat I was on and the turbulance caused the pouch to become disconnected. Word of caution, dunk your vest only when the boat is idling.
R J No, I don't think so. The Surelock system is proprietary to SeaQuest.
Shopper Does this fit the aqual lung Pro QD? I lost one. The one I still have is about 4/12 inches wide. Mine looks somewhat different. On mine you can't see anyting but the grey handle on the same view above. The black part that locks in is attached flush against the back.
SUE K Not sure - I replaced for an older Libra. These are definitely different from what I previously had. The one shown has the grey lock to attach to the BC. The ones that came with my BC used velcro to keep the weights in place. My BC doesn't have any place for the locking grey attachment shown at the top of this picture. My original weight pouches also only had the grey handle. I could not find a true replacement for my original pouches. I used these and after 4 dives, one of the pouches slipped out. Luckily, we were pretty shallow as it was our last dive of the day and we were able to retrieve. So beware. Hope this makes sense and helps
ROBERT R I got the double size for my sea quest and it fit fine this one says it fits the Pro QD so I would think it would be just fine and if it does not you can send it back.
DWAYNE D I remember having a similar issue... It is compatible, meaning they will lock-in. The view to the right is the front of the pouch which faces out. However, the only thing you should double check is the amount of weight they will hold-which may correlate to the size of your BC. I think the replacements run a little larger than originals. Also, this was a couple years ago and I have a different BC now.

LAWRENCE K Sorry, I cannot give you an answer. The replacement pouch fit perfectly in my Seaquest bcd. The ZUMA is made by Aqualung so unless they are the same company or use identical parts my guess is this replacement pouch would not work.
R J I'm not that familiar with the ZUMA, but unless it has the "SureLock"System, which is Seaquest system, I really don't think it will fit.

TRACEY B The wieght pouches come in standard sizes. One size, as pictured here is about 5 inches in width, the other size is more like a square at 10 or so inches in width. The size of the BC is not relevant. If you don't remember which size pouch you had, measure the inside of the pouch holder in your BC.
LAWRENCE K I have a Seaquest Latitude XLT. My replacement was this pouch. However, based on just checking the Leisure Pro web page it appears your PRO UNLIMITED requires the other pouch which in the photo appears at least twice as wide.
If you check the Leisure Pro site you should see the two on the right of the screen.

BLAIR W Great service when I ordered the pouch. The replacement has worked fine. Never would have lost the original if I hadn't dunked the bc off the back of a fast moving boat before a dive. Water caught the catch and released it, as it's designed to do...rookie mistake.

LAWRENCE K A long reply without a definite answer:
I have a Seaquest Latitude XLT. This replacement pouch fit my bcd perfectly. You have a different model so I'm not sure if our bcd's would have the same pouch. I'd like to think the pouch is the same. My bcd is no longer made so I can't find a description, specifically if mine has the Surelock II as your bcd does.
My thought would be to buy this as you don't have any alternative. Otherwise, you'd need to perhaps use a weight belt or unsafely put some weight in a front pocket or put all the front weight in one pouch.
This is my third answer to this type question. I'm happy to reply. However, even though Leisurepro sell thousands of item you'd think they would have been able to answer your question.

LAURA C The product I purchased 3 years ago fit just fine. I don't have the style names or part numbers anymore, so I don't know if it's the same one you have. Anyway, the weight pouch clips in, so if it's the same type clip, it should be fine.

SCOTT N I have replaced the weight pouches in my BC with the 10 lbs. To date, I haven't needed any more than 9 lbs in each pouch. I also have 4 lbs in the trim pockets in the BC.
MICHAEL M I would opt for a weight belt if I planned to use more than 20 lbs. More comfortable and better weight distribution. Just my humble opinion!
BARRY D It really depends on how much you weigh and where you dive. Warmer water means less wetsuit, so less weight is needed to stay down. I weigh just over 200 lbs. In 50-60 degree water I wear and 8 MM full suit and require 23 lbs of weight. In 75-80 degree water I wear a 3mm shorty without sleeves and require only 13 lbs.

REX U In have no idea, I didn't know they come in different weight amounts. Isuppose it depends on how much weight you carry in them.

THOM S If you have an XL then you should get the 16lb. For someone your size you typically need around 30 lbs to get neutral. Even with the pouches on the upper back 10lbs x2 will not be enough.
DEBORAH B There are two considerations:
1. According to Aqualung's specs for your BC, the total releasable weight is 20 lbs. That would limit you to 10 lb. per side. 2. Width of pouch for your BC. The 10lb. pouch looks like the photo, i.e. narrow. The 16lb. pouch is much wider -- close to a square.
David R The SQTWPPQQD pocket is if you have the older style velcro pocket without the Surelock clip If you have the Surelock clip , you'll need the 10lb pocket SQTWPSL
MARK S Depends on how much weight you need. With the trim weights on back of BC plus two ten pound pouches, you have 30 pounds available.
LAWRENCE K I'm sorry but I have no idea what the difference is between the two choices you have. When I bought my replacement I believe I had but one choice.
My Seaquest Latitude is five or more years old so perhaps they now have given divers different size pouches based on the size of the bcd or amount of weight they hold?

The replacement I did order was an exact duplicate so works perfectly.

PAUL K I would think so, don't buy the larger size it will not fit. The smaller of the two was a replacement and fit fine. Check with Seaquest if you have doubts.
EVA C I think it might but i can't be absolutely certain. I don't have a Diva BCD. It's a Seaquest Pr QD.
BLAIR W The replacement pouch worked GREAT. One suggestion, I lost the original one when I tried to wet my BC, off the back of the boat, while we were enroute to the dive site. The water rushing past the BC caused the pouch to pull out of the BC, as its suppose to when you do a weight dump, and I didn't realize it. BE CAREFUL if you do the same thing
LAWRENCE K I have a the Latitude XLT model (medium/large) and the replacement pouch was exactly like the original. I'm not sure if it fits the Diva, which I believe is a woman's model. Sorry.
I assume you've tried contacting SeaQuest? Realizing you'll have to place some weight in the zipper pocket without the replacement pouch (not easily accessible to dump the weight) you might just as well spend the $22+ to give it a try.

LeisurePro S If you have the Surelock pouches with the clip, these are the pouches you need (16 pound size). There is no right or left sidedness. If you have the older velcro closure pouches, you will need the pouches found here.
Shopper Is this weight pocked compatible w/the Libra BC (Small)?
SUE K Not an older Libra. They will fit. But the older Libra doesn't have the Sure -Lock system - no place to lock in . Older Libra used velcro to keep weights in pouch and then another velcro flap on outside of BC to secure to the BC. I used these as replacements, but one fell out after 4 dives because I didn't have any place to lock in the SureLock.
