I'm sure it will. All the Suunto consoles are pretty much interchangeable, whether they accommodate just an analog pressure and depth gauge (which is how I once used the SK7) or any of the Cobras. I've got both a Cobra 2 and Cobra 3, so while I've never mounted the SK7 on either one, I'm sure it would fit.
KRISTINE M Yes it will. The size and shape of the Cobra 3 is identical to the (older) Cobra model.

AMIRIS A I think so.....I would ask leisurepro, though. I think they sell it as Suunto SK7 Retractable Compass......hope that helps.
DENNIS G You could but Suunto makes a wrist mount that comes with the bungee cords and I love it for both pleasure diving and tech diving and it does not have the sharp edges that can cut the cord at the holes as this one will.
Shopper Can i buy this as a wrist mount with bungee cord?
CHRISTOPHER P I don't think it would work well for that purpose. It's bulky and I'm not sure where you'd attach the cord.

Shopper How hard is it to mount this compass to the end of a Cobra computer console?
CHRISTOPHER P Installation is easy - all you need is a Phillips screwdriver.
ROBERT K This compass is very easy to install . It will take about 2 minutes
Just loosen the screws on the back of your console and open it enough to slide the compass in then retighten the screws . Your done
DANIEL B It's a very simple install but the parts fit together very tightly so it takes a bit of force to separate them. You just remove all the screws and separate the housing. Pop the computer off it's mounts and set aside. Remove the end cap from the back housing, replace with the compass and reassemble. A couple of well placed drops of light oil will make the rubber parts go back together easier. Be careful not to get any oil on the computer.
WYSMAR C There are just 2 small screws holding the top of the console in place. Just remove these screws, line up the compass holes with the holes on the console and reinsert the two screws.
It should take less than 5 minutes to complete.
ADVENTURE D Very easy! Just two phillips screws!
THOMAS P Not hard. But I didn't use the compass in the console. From what I remember of the disassembly of the console for parts years before, it should be easy. A couple of screws and then reassembly of the console. If you are replacing your present compass, it should be an R&R operation. If you are adding the compass to the end, you'll need a boot to hold the compass. Ask LP. BTW, this is a great compass. Another (better, IMO) option would be the same model compass (different part#) as a stand-alone mounted on the retractor.
SUSAN E Not hard at all. You remove the two screws in the back of the console, attach the compass, make sure the holes are lined up and then replace the two screws. All you need is a phillips screwdriver.

todd C I have a console mounted zoop that I would like to remove and replace with a compass. Will this mount directly to the SPG console?
DANIEL C I only ordered this version because it is the cheapest way to get an SK7 compass. I remove the guts and remount them into a wrist mount made by Deep Sea Supply.

DANIEL B The Sunnto console parts are designed to work in any combination. You could add the compass without removing the computer if you like. The only limitation is the compass must be mounted on the end of the console.
