I would look for much thicker rubber (tubing wall. It is worth it to spend a little more. I have 4 spear guns 2 of the are travel size. I just got back from Hawaii and I wish I would have had time test the tubing's strength, Because my guns are small the line is only 4 foot. I had put 3 bands on 1 of my guns that normally only needs 2, and it still wasn't enough to penetrate @ 3 feet. I ended up hurting 2 of my targets and had to shoot the 3rd Target a 2nd time for the kill. WEAK TUBING strength it is not the total diamintor it is the thin tubing wall that make it weak.

Strong, stretchy surgical tubing. It's not as pliable as the thinner versions but easy to shape. Made a great SMB holder out of it and also used it to hold UK C8 flashlight from dangling when clipped on the shoulder strap
