Shopper Is this a heavier weight suit than a rash guard? Is the material thicker than a rash guard? I'm looking for a heavier suit to swim with in the cool months because the pool is not heated in Hawaii and a rash guard is too thin> Yes we do get cool temps so the community pool is rather cold. I found a wet suit but the vendor didn't carry larger sizes. So I decided to note the brand item (it was an excel-designed for uv protection) and go on the line. I think this is the item.
Monica s No this is a standard rash guard, it will not offer any thermal properties for you. You may want to consider a Lava Core shirt LVCSSM, or something similar that is fleece lined, this will provide a little bit more warmth.
