JIM M I have had 16 of these boats. They are for light use at best. Any more than two peop;e and it get's uncomfortable. Still water only. For one person sitting inside and rowing it is the most comfortable boating you can do. If you row too hard you ruin the boat. So row easy witch is always the best any way. Camping and sleeping on slow water is fantasic! Prepare to fix leaks.

TIMOTHY J I have never owned the Angler Bay, but I have owned three of the 6-man Sevylor fish hunters. So my opinion is not fully informed. From what I can see online looking at the Angler Bay, it is 2 centimeters shorter and 1 centimeter narrower than the fish hunter, which I doubt you would notice. The Sevylor has 5 air chambers (inner hull, outer hull, floor, and 2 long tube-shaped chambers along each outer hull at the floor, which the Angler Bay appears not to have (looks like 2 or 3 chambers). The Sevylor has grab lines along the floor, which the Angler Bay does not. These are useful for hoisting yourself out of the water and into the boat. Both have 4 drain plugs, which I personally opine are a big deal because I use my rafts for whitewater rafting (the Snake River at Alpine, WY) as well as fishing in Minnesota and they work great for both. Both boats are 32 gauge. The motor mounts look identical. The "battery bag" on the Sevylor is useless and I discard it immediately. I suspect the one on the Angler Bay is similar. Bottom line: it looks to me like they are very similar. If you are super price sensitive, the Angler Vay is fine. If people are going to be in and out of the boat and in the water, the Sevylor is easier to use. It also looks like it has more air chambers.

TREVOR L I recently got a ten inch gash in the left pontoon on the bottom of mine and although I've only had it since April, it only came with a limited 90 day warranty. So I got a twelve in pool patch that I plan on putting on it and hopefully it still floats good. It's good size but I wouldn't put more than 2-3 ppl in it. There's good sitting room up on the sides of it but not much room on the inside. I do like how big and safe it is for a raft and I would recommend it. Hope that helps ya out a bit

MICHAEL T carring it deflated might be akward, it might be a bit hard to fold. i had a truck with a 8 foot bed, and i inflated it threw it in the back of that. the anchors work well. depending what your gonna use it for. i sold mine and got a kayak. i didnt want to worry about the plugs at the bottom leaking, or the boat losing air when your in the middle of the lake. hope this helps.
