Shopper I read somewhere that this will also work on a S'Pro Mk 10 & Mk 15 First Stage; do you think that is true ?
MICHAEL S I have used three of these on three MK10 regulators without any modification or any problems.
Shopper Hi I want to change my MK25 york to this DIN.
To do so, I need to get the special tool.
Can anybody advice where I can get the tool?
I have torque driver and extension bar.

STEVEN K I had them do it at the dive shop while servicing my reg. since i had the part they were taking the reg apart anyway they didnt charge me for it. I have no clue how to change it myself.

JAMES W I have changed several MK25's to DIN - it's a simple task with the right tool, but any workshop can do it. Getting the tool is probably harder than finding a Scubapro service center!
WILLIAM K If you are referring to the yoke nut socket, I got mine at Scuba Tools, Inc. I'd provide a link to the part but LeisurePro doesn't allow it. They do have a website at www dot scubatools dot com. Just replace the "dot" with a ".".
The part number for the socket is 20-155-500. Hope this helps...
NICOLAS P To install the DIN connector you need a 5mm Allen key.
To remove the Yoke connector you need either a special ScubaPro tool or a large adjustable spanner wrench.
The large size is important, not for the nut size bot for the length of the jaw needed to grab the nut around the yoke. I have bought a cheap but large adjustable wrench at Home Depot, and have ground down it's jaw thickness to just about the bolt's contact surface height ( a few millimeters) . This last step is not absolutely necessary but allows for better control.

It's a very easy swap but make sure not to over torque. Spend $30 and get a torque wrench if you don't have one.
Shopper what seals will this need to install on a MK16

WILLIAM K I required no additional O-rings for installation on a MK25 and I assume that none are required for the MK16 as well. The MK16 is no longer available and I am not personally familliar with it, but I would imagine the connecting mechanism is the same as the other Scubapro models. Although it is not absolutely required, I did purchase a socket and extension to aid in the removal of the yoke connector. A typical socket will not fit inside the yoke adapter.

noel n cool i brought up my detailed schematics. and they looked like they were all there. reason i asked was some of the reviewers noted they were missing seals.....there is a grove about 1/2 inch up from the inside end that has nothing in it but the end has the smaller o ring (like on the hose plugs and just under the wheel is a larger body seal.... ill have my local dive shop remove the yoke nut and i have a inch pound torque wrench and the right type of hex sockets....to re install, or maybe ill just have my dive shop do it just had the reg rebuilt so they may do it for cheap since all the parts are there

MICHAEL M I've converted two Mk25 to DIN using this kit from ScubaPro. The kit comes with the necessary O-rings to complete the conversion (they are visible in the picture).
What you will need is a torque wrench so you can tighten the fasteners on the kit to the correct tightness (two locations). You may also need a special "short" socket to remove the old yoke from the first stage and a extra long hex key to install the new parts. The torque specifications are written on the kit package.
MARCIAL S None just make sure it has all its o rings that come with it.

LeisurePro S Yes, the DIN converter for the MK20/MK25 will also work for the MK10; however it's slightly different cosmetically.

LeisurePro S Yes, this will be fine with 200 bar.
Shopper Can it be used with the MK20-UL ("Ultra Light" Aluminum alloy) regulator? If not, is there a specific converter for the UL version?
LeisurePro S Yes, you can use this converter with the ultra light reg. It will fit, but other people who have done the same (and ScubaPro!) recommend using a lot of care and a good amount of christol lube when you screw the two piece together to avoid nicking or shredding the threads of the ultra light material with the heavier metal of the converter.
Shopper Can this be used for Cressi-Sub XS2/AC2 first stage?

LeisurePro S This is the scuba pro OEM din kit. It does not come with any instructions regarding it's installation or use, if you are not trained on working on scuba regulators I would recommend having a technician install it.

LeisurePro S Yes that is correct.
Use the "300 bar" DIN to convert your first stage from a yoke valve to a DIN valve. This is a necessary piece of equipment for any divers who want to switch between many aluminum and steel tanks. Also, scuba divers who travel overseas will want to have a DIN adapter in order to adapt to the tanks available at the local dive sites. The adapter allows you to easily convert your first stage, if required, so you can use your own gear rather than rental gear!
