Shopper How do you inflate this bag is it closed or open style?
MICHAEL M Bpttom is open, use your alternate air source to inflate using the purge.
SEAN G These types of lift bags are filled throught the bottom opening. Insert an
air hose or your octopus into the opening at the bottom and inflate.
A dump valve is also provided on the top of the bag with is used to
release the air in the bag. The dump valve can be activated by either
pulling on the string inside the bag and releasing the air or by pushing on
the button on the top of dump valve on the top of the bag.
CANDY H Place your 2nd stage at the opening of the bag and depress the button that releases the air. The bag will begin to fill with air. It is an open bag. Great for commercial use but not a bag to carry on recreational dives because it is bulky.
JOE B It's open on the bottom, inflate it with your regulator!
JUSTIN K This bag is a teardrop type lift bag which has an open bottom design filled through the opening on the bottom. It has a dump valve pull that hangs out of the opening on the bottom.
Air can also be dumped from the top of the bag by pressing a button on the dump valve.

diameter: 2'5", overall height: 3'7" Subsalve USA Commercial Lift Bags are capable of being used by a single diver. These heavy-duty lift bags are ideal for use in light salvage, object recovery, construction, and scientific applications. Commercial Lift Bags are especially suited for remote locations or for deployment from a small craft. These bags were designed to be portable, yet tough enough to last a lifetime. Each bag leaves the manufacturing facility equipped with all necessary hardware and is ready for immediate use. All Subsalve USA Commercial Lift Bags are equipped with Subsalve's own Plunger Dump Valve (which provides air control with a push-button knob at the top of the bag and a lanyard at the bottom of the bag). These bags were manufactured from heavy-duty nylon fabric coated with urethane for: - High strength

- Not affected by most petrol-chemicals
- UV resistant
The Commercial Lift Bags have 6000 lb. rated strength, resin-treated nylon lift straps sewn directly into the bottom of the lift bag, and has a safe working ratio of 6:1. Each Subsalve USA lift bag is tested by the manufacturer prior to shipping, and must meet rigorous U.S. Department of Defense requirements.
