Bill J Can you please tell me if the manila folder pocket in the upper center, behind the three small, open-top pockets will it hold a standard-size folder (about 9.5"x11.5")?

KRISTOFER K I'm not sure if my organizer is the same model number since I have a Pelican 1620 case, but a normal 9.5x11.5 folder fits in the pocket just fine.
JOHN C I have used the lid organizer to hold about 20 average filled manilla file folders at a time for storing data and user guides for the enclosed equipment.
Works like a gem!
KRISTOPHER M It appears i have a different pocket organizer than the one shown for this item number.
Mine will accommodate this size folder. The lip of the case can make it hard to slide them in and out, depending how full the pockets are.
GARY A M I should add that this organizer does not look like the one in the image displayed. You can find a more accurate image by Googling "pelican 1609 photo lid organizer" . It's the one with the large pocket on the left.

To be clear, are you selling the version with the large folder pocket in the upper left corner instead of the one pictured in the upper center on your site? (No matter what I Google on, online sellers alternately display one version or the other, and many buyers/reviewers say they do not receive "the one pictured". Wish everyone would picture the one they're actually selling.) Thanks for your help.
GARY A M All I'm saying is when I ordered it, I received the one with the large pocket on the left. That's actually the one I wanted. So, I guess I got lucky. lol I would bet on getting the one I described if you order from here. I think the one shown is 1519. The 1609 at B&H Photo is exactly what I received. Are you using it for photo, or something else?

MARK S It does. I would advise a piece of adhesive backed Velcro to close it up to keep the contents in place. Especially if you use it for air travel.
Great product otherwise.
GARY A M If you put velcro where you suggest, you will not be able to close it with a folder in it.
GARY A M Yes. You should have no problem fitting a folder that size in the slot. I would estimate that it would be able to hold up to around 50 sheets of paper as well.
