Pelican makes THE best cases. This one is my grab and go when it's time to hit the road. Some flights that I take limit the weight of your carry on and that can be a problem with this case. It's very solid and it's weight shows it!!

Luggage is like cars in many ways--it all looks great new, but use it for a few years and then see what you have.

I have been though every kind of case over the years (expensive, cheap, whatever). Usually you get what you pay for and some times you don't.

This is by far the best case I have ever owned.
Durable is the best word to described it. I have checked it, carried on and dragged it up and down the stair in Airports. I have packed cameras and regulators. I use it for business travel--fill it with documents. No problems--the wheels and handles are tough. It is not light, but it is not as heavy as some soft-sided wheeled luggage out there.

There is a lid organizer that can be purchased for about $20 or so. Nice feature and installs easily.

This is an excellent value.

We bought this as an airline carry on. Its super tough and ready to fly! It looks small but it holds about a weeks worth of summer clothes.
