Shopper The king2 seems to fit me except waist which mine is 46", would it fit me or will it be too tight?

CRAIG R It is well made. As to fit I had issues. It was VERY tight going on. I have never used it however looking at it again a couple years later saw deep inside a tag stating that it was "female" sizing. I should have dealt with it promptly initially as upon and calling them because after that discovery they told me that they would not take it back as it had been too long.
JOSEPH C I bought an XL short and it was a tight fit. So much so that I had it altered by adding panels to the torso by a company in California. The cruiser is not as stretchy as I like. I tried on a friends elastiprene merino lined suit and found it to be much more comfortable due to it being much more stretchy. The problem with that suit is it costs so much more than the cruiser. Hope this helps.
WILLIAM L The suit was smaller than I thought from the size chart. Would order slightly bigger size but waist size is usually not the issue.mIt the neck, leg, wrist and the one I ordered was a bit small in these areas also
Miyuki S If all the other measurements are in line and your waist is 46 inches, it should fit well. King 2 waist accomodates 46-50 inches and this suit does have good stretch to it.
Shopper I have a 3mm Elastiprine right now which I really like & fits well but the arms are a little long. I'm 5'10", 210lb & 40in waist. Would the large in this suit fit the same or do they run smaller than my elastiprine & if so, where specifically? Trying to decide if I should I go up to an XL Short?
CRAIG R From my experience this runs small compared to the fit of my3/2 mil Bare. As I have not liked this 5mil getting off and on have not used it. You may consider buying a vest instead. That has worked well for me to take that slight chill off after multiple dives.
PAUL S Lucky for you Leisure Pro has a great return policy.I would try the xl short as you might find the heaver wetsuit won't stretch as much and is harder to put on. I just bought one and love it.
PAUL C The Cruiser 5 5MM will fit better then a 3MM TRUST ME. When they make the suit the sizes on the chart are the actual size of the inside of the suit, they do that because the 5MM does not stretch like the 3MM. The sizes of a 3MM chart are the measurement of the outside of it so a 3MM fits tight and the arms and legs are to long. Just remember do not pick a size alittle smaller do to what I said pick the one closest to your size. I have my suit for four summers and it's like NEW just do this and it will last, take a cooler or tub and fill it full of water and put the suit in it and put your weight belt on it so it's underwater for about two hours and you'll have the suit for a long time THEY MAKE IT TO LAST "GREAT SUIT" p.s. I do river diving too and it's warm in that cold 40 degree water from the mountains Upstate N.Y.. BUY IT
GEORGE W i'm 5'8' 205and up to 235 at times and a xl short works great for me. my pant size went from 38 to 34 and this suit fits good. had trouble with the zipper breaking but they fixed it but didn't replace it like i thought they would under warranty. hope this helps
JOHN W This is the second suit in the past 4 years, and I am about to order another. I am 6' 2", 195 lbs, 34 waist, and the large fits me perfectly.
I average over 400 dives a year (u/w videographer), and with proper care, these suits have been the best I have used in over 50 years diving.
Great fit, not cumbersome, and by adding a skin in winter, (water tends to be cooler here in Hawaii), I do not have to wear a bulkier 7 mm, thus eliminating extra weight. Outstanding buy for the money.
ADAM T I'm a true medium...148lb 5'8" 32' waist and chest at 39". My 5mm pinnacle runs true for me. The 1st time I put it on the fit was great. My understanding of "short" is shorter legs and arms with no change in torso fit. Pinnacle runs pretty consist. For the price...if the suit fits everywhere else roll the sleeves once. You might try a dive skin under your suit to help the shoulders where they are supposed to be. Hope this helps.
RYAN F I am 5'11" / 220 lbs with a 38 inch waist and my XL fits comfortably. It is maybe an inch long in the legs, but I just run that over the top of my boots. I have been very happy with the construction and fit of my suit.
TIMOTHY M I am about the same height as you and I weigh 230 with a 36-38 in waiste and the large is a little constricting to me in the chest with my 5mm. I would go with an close for the comfort and so its easier to breath. Because I think mine is too tight around the chest and constricts my breathing a little. Hope this helps. Btw these are a great deal for a wetsuit, no complaints about the quality at all. Good buy!

Ben L what water temp this 5mm recomended for? i'm going to be diving in bonaire in jan wher water temp is around 78, I plan to dive everyday as much as the dive tables let me
VITALIY S You will be cooked alive if you use 5 mm in 78 degrees water. I hope you would not be too hot in 2 mm (unless the water at the bottom is much cooler.

MARK H even 3mm may be too hot, get a shorty or a skin .
MARK H This suit will be too thick, get a thinner suit. I use it to dive in quarries. The water temp there is well below 70 degrees. You will burn up. I would say a 3mm will be plenty.
THOMAS T At 78 degrees I would have absolutely no trouble with the suit, I recently dove in 81 degree water with a 3 mil and was plenty warm enough. I am 5 foot 10 and 230 pounds so I have a pretty good size thermal core. I would feel perfectly comfortable at 78 degrees with the 5 mil.
GINA S 5mm is a bit thick for Bonaire, even in Jan. I found that a 3mm was more than enough and if you are cold natured then wear a skin under it...I have the pinnacle 5mm and have never used it anywhere in the Carribbean at any time of the year...take a look at the 3mm that Pinnacle makes...they make very good wetsuits and are high quality....
JOSEPH C I would say it will be great for that water temp. I have worn it down to 75 degrees and was comfortable. The only issue I had is that he sizing runs a little small. My suit is tighter than my 3mm. Hope this helps.
DALE W Ben, you can dive in a 3mm. 5 would be overkill. I would be sweating in a 5. Be sure to dive the reef wall if you can. Those guys down there wear a skin in the summer and maybe a 3 in the winter
JAMES S I bought the Pinnacle 5mm Elastoprene wetsuit specifically for a trip to Mayaguana aboard the liveaboard Nekton Rorqual. The trip was in March and the water temp was 75-77 deg F.
Being a liveaboard, I was diving 4-5 times a day and the suit was more than sufficient to keep my core temp up. However, being new, the suit was very positively buoyant and I had to add extra weight to counter the effect.
I also own the Pinnacle Elastoprene 3mm suit and am pleased with both of them.

JACK S 5 mm full suit is for colder water. I went to Bonaire 2 yrs ago and dove in a 2mm shorty. Dove like a mad man and had no issues with cold, even at night.
MIKOL W This suit was used in water temps ranging from 72 to 79 with very little issues. Eventually, the only issue I found with it was that the loop side (cloth side) of the velcro closure at the neck collected a lot of garbage since I didn't use it much and threw away the protective tab.

I've dove in Bonaire three times, always in a full 3mm wetsuit. The last time I was there it was a January. Other people were happy in shorty 3mm wetsuits but I think I would have gotten cold, especially after several dives.
The short answer is that the comfort of any wetsuit depends on your own tolerance for cold. But I know that doesn't help. ;-)
So I'll just tell you that the 5mm should be more than enough warmth!
Personally, if I were going back in January I'd take a full 3mm wetsuit and a neoprene beanie -- just that small amount of extra protection can make a big difference in comfort.
If you get the 5mm, be careful about the sizing. Mine was a bit small. I ordered the L, and I'm a 200lb 6ft guy -- so it should have fit perfectly. The actual size was more like a ML, a bit too snug and shorter than I would have liked. If you're on the borderline between sizes, I'd suggest going to the larger size.

BRETT H 5 mil is perfect. But I returned the pinnacle and bought the Bare 5 mil instead. The fit was far better. Have a great trip.

LARRY K Ben, I bought one in Nov 09, and used the sizing chart provided and it worked out. Fortunate for me I live in the Houston area and don't have to use a 5 mil often (maybe 5 times), but the more I use it the easier it get to put on.

JERRY M Ben, whatever size you come up with on the sizing chart go up one size. These suits are pretty tight. Otherwise, the sizing chart should help you!
TIMOTHY P Sorry, I decided upon the Camaro Stingray, 5mm semi-dry, size L. I had to have Leisure Pro send me all the sizes, from many different makers, to decide upon the one that 'fit' me best. Cost me a bit in shipping to send about 8 wet suits back, but was worth the investment to be able to compare, side by side, and really get the one that fit best. Front-zip suits are the way to go.

LEO H No clue as I am significantly larger than that and for me the suit ran tight for xl. I am 200, 5'11.
TREVOR K Ben, It was so long ago I'm sorry I don't recall the sizing selections. I do recall that I had to select a larger size for my arm and leg length that caused it to be a little baggy in my lower back. Beyond that, it is a great wetsuit and I would buy it again.
