Shopper Thank you very much for your answers, i was just wondering the ammount of zippers since it looks nice and strong, but i was wondering this for traveling on planes, the more zippers the more weak points to steal stuff but i guess i could use locks on each. Has anyone had trouble flying with this bag? (i know most people use it on boats and road trips) but i'd like to know before purchasing something like this.
ROBERT C My family of 5 divers has flown several times with this bag with no issues. To avoid theft issues we carry on our regulators and computers. Carry on could not be easier since the "regulator" cases quickly un-zip and are conveniently carried on board the aircraft.
The bag is heavy duty and has been an excellent purchase. The zippers, straps, stiching and design are all superior quality.

JARED M I have a comment you may want to consider when traveling with this bag. The zip out regulator bag is a nice feature for flying as you can easily take your regulators with you instead of stowing them. However the plastic connections for the straps break quite easily. So if you travel with it, plan on taking these off before.
As far as the bag being secure against theft. I haven't had any problems but obviously if you are concerned a bag that doesn't advertise the fact that there is dive gear inside may be your best option.

I have flown with this bag about 3 times now without any problems. However I cut out a piece of durable cardboard and put it on the bottom of the bag to add it stability. You can use locks on the zippers without a problem. I have only traveled in the US, not a great chance of bags being open and stuff stolen. Not sure about traveling to other countries tho, you might wanna use extra precaution.
Shopper is the fin pocket inside or outside the bag? how many outside zippers does it have, 2? (main and regulator compartment zippers?)
SHEILA B Fin pocket is on the outside of the bag. 4 outside zippers, main zipper, regulator bag attachment zipper, regulator bag zipper, and a small storage compartment zipper located on the side of the bag.
JUSTIN W There is no separate fin pocket. I store my fins on the bottom of the bag.
There is one main zipper, a reg compartment zipper as well as a zipper to remove the entire reg compartment from the main dive bag in case you want to travel with just the reg bag.
There is also a small compartment on the side of the bag with a zipper.
So, 4 zippers in total.
TODD H The fin pocket is on the outside of the bag and keeps your wet fins away from the rest of the contents of the bag. The bag also has 3 outside zippers: main compartment, regulator compartment and fin pocket.
FERDINAND G The fin compartment.is outside it holds about two pairs. A zipped for tithe regulator one main and one small one that I keep tools in.
DAVID O The fin pocket is on the outside. The rigulator compartment is on the end of the duffle and is detachablefrom the duffle. And also has a small zippered pocket behind the Pinnacle symbol on the side.A very good equipment duffle. If you have any other just ask.
