JACKIE P Yes the ERDP-ML has a user- changeable battery. Simply open the door on the back of the unit with the edge of a coin. The battery is a very common one (flat, about the size of a quater) readily available at many stores and not expensive (a few dollars)

JOHN F The PADI eRDP ML uses a CR2032 battery. This is a very common 3v Lithium battery about the size of a nickel (US). Simple replacement via the twist-lock panel on the bottom. I've had mine for a year and am still on the original battery (included). Enjoy yours. It's a handy dive tool but really shines as a simulator/trainer.
