Oceanic's Alpha 8 SP5 Regulator is a low priced no frills regulator system that offers easy breathing. This regulator is so rugged and economical to maintain (replacement parts are inexpensive) that it's become popular as a rental. It can be used with air or nitrox mixtures up to 40 percent right out of the box. Alpha SP-5 exceeds both Navy Class A and European CE standards.

FIRST STAGE

At 26 oz (737 g), the SP5 is one of Oceanic's lightest first stages and features an Non-Balanced Flow-By Downstream Fail-Safe Piston Design. Machined from Marine Brass and Chrome Plated, it offers one high pressure port and four low pressure ports.

SECOND STAGE

The Alpha 8's super sturdy ABS/Polycarbonate housing weighs just 6 oz (170 g), and measures just 2.9" (7.4 cm) in diameter. Even the ring that holds the cover in place is feather light. The lightweight and anatomically designed mouthpiece translates into a second stage that won't cause jaw strain. The Alpha 8 Second Stage has a dependable Downstream Demand Valve Design. Regulator comes equipped with a 3/8" threaded 30" (76.2 cm) MaxFlex Braided Hose which is extremely flexible and further reduces jaw fatigue. Regulator comes with an Owner's Manual.

Do you want a dive computer that can do it all, yet is available in a compact configuration? Look no further than Oceanic's Veo 100 dive computer. Its large digits means reading the computer's information is incredibly easy - making it ideal for divers of all age groups. The Veo offers large, easy to read alphanumeric displays and color coded graphs where green means "go", yellow means "caution" and red means "stop". Here it comes in a console with a Pressure Gauge.

The Oceanic Veo 100 uses as Modified Haldanean DSAT Rogers/Powell Data Based Algorithm for calculating your dive information. The Computer has a maximum Depth Display to 399' (120 meters) and is fully Altitude Adjustable up to 14,000' (4,267 meters) of elevation. Computer can be used in two modes of Air or Gauge and has a 12-Dive On-Board Log function. The Veo 100 Computer displays Time, Date and Temperature and can be set for imperial or metric units of measurements. The computer is powered by a User Replaceable 3-Volt CR2450 Lithium Battery and comes with a Comprehensive Owner's Manual.

The computer is housed along with a Pressure Gauge in a durable rubber Console Boot that has attachment points for lanyards or clips. The Pressure Gauge has pressure readout from 0 to 5,000 psi with a red color code from 0 to 500 psi for safety. The Pressure Gauge is also equipped with a Fluorescent Dial for low light conditions and its own temperature gauge.
