SHAWN M First off, I have the size XL BC.
(2) Small pockets on back of BC hold 5 lbs each.
(2) "Ditchable" waist-side pockets hold 10 lbs each.
Maximum total weight could be 30 lbs.
Sherwood requires you use soft weights (bags of lead) for the ditchable pockets; however, I have no problem using 10 lbs in each pocket of the "Sea Pearl" brand weights intended for a weight belt.
ANDREW Y I believe a maximum of 24lbs - 8lbs each side, and up to 4lb in each of the trim pockets in the back.
