JOE P Yes this is a cold water regulator.. However, I have not used it in anythig other than tropical and 72 degree springs.

LeisurePro S No, the regulator in this package is an unbalanced piston design. Check out the GT3/CDX5 regulator which does have a balanced first stage. If you give our customer service department a call at 888-805-3600 or email info@leisurepro.com, they can help you swap out the regulator in the package and quote you a new price.
