Questions about this item:
Shopper would this be a good suit/package for paddle boarding in new england (especially if you want to do yoga on the board)?
EDWARD K Yes it would. I would recommend 7mm in the summer to really enjoy.....HOT yoga! Enjoy & Happy Holidays!
RICHARD W This suit is 7mm, it is very thick and extremely warm. If you are standing up on a board, I think it would be too warm. I don't think it would give you the flexibility that you would want for Yoga. It is a SCUBA Diving suit for cold water. From what you are describing as your need and activity, I think your best bet would be to buy a 5mm suit made for surfing. Suits made for surfing are more flexible in the arms, legs, and waist. A 5mm suit would probably keep you warm enough if used in the winter, and would certainly be warm enough in the Spring and summer. I would by a surfing suit that is as thin as you think you can bear in terms of possibly being cold, maybe even a 4mm suit. They make surfing suits that have 3 different thicknesses in the same suit. If you see a surfing suit that is advertised as a 4/5/6, it is 5mm in the legs, 4mm in the waist, and 6mm in chest and arms. I think this may be the suit for you.
DON S It's a pretty thick wetsuit, so your range of motion will probably be limited, but it will certainly keep you warm.
CHRISTOPHER B I don't have experience doing those activities in this wetsuit, but this is a 7 mil suit so will limit mobility to some degree. However, this suit seems about as easy to move around in as any thick wetsuit I've ever used. I like the hood, really never used the gloves, and the boots are good but are thick and too big for some fins -
KEVIN B If you are looking for suit to keep you warm, then yes. If you want a suit that is very flexible it is not bad but you may want to consider a suit made of the more flexible Stretch neoprene.
Thank you,
NORMAND L yes, plus it will help you hold the Paripurna Navasana pose
ROBERT Y My first time using this suit was in 50 degree water and 26 degrees outside. I was very comfortable for a couple of hours. It is very thick and very constraining so I can't imagine doing yoga with it on. But it is good for scuba diving where your movement is minimal already.
DOUGLAS G I would say no - the suit is not very stretchy so you'd be quite limited in your movements.
Graeme P hi i'm 6'-6" and approx. 180Lbs. What size would be best?
BILLY S i would get a xl tall but to be safe check the size chart for your hieght and weight
ANDRES B If you want a snug fit I would say go Large/Tall. If you want room for growth I would go XL.
I purchased a 5mm Pinnacle suit, size XL/Short. I'm 5' 7" and 205lb. Length is still a bit long for me, but the chest area is roomy. Caution: if you decide on XL I worry that your chest area would be swimming inside the suit.
Hope this helps
DAVID C Pinnacle size chart is pretty accurate. Use your height, weight, chest and waist measurements to come as close as you can. Mine fits great except the sleeves are slightly too long. But a little long is better than short.
RICARDO C Hey,
I'm 6'2 210lbs and I wear a LG TALL. It fits me perfect! I just followed the chart, if not just call the people @ the 800#. They are really good at that kind of stuff.
BRAD L I'm 6'4" and 175 lbs. I have the LT and it fits like a custom suit.
Shopper What size should I get?
Height 5'11"
Weight 212-216 lbs
Chest 44"
Waist 38"
Hips 41.5"
Inseam 31"
Shoe size 10.5 - 11
WILLIAM M I would say a large. I got the medium/large and I'm 5'7" 170lbs 44" chest 33" waist and 30" inseam
MAX G I would try their XXL-Short, as they have a tendency to run a bit on the small side. But this website does offer a no hassle exchange if your wetsuit doesn't fit.
ROBERT Y Well, all I can tell you is that I am 5'-8" and weigh about 175 and the medium is a snug fit on me. You would probably need to go up a couple of sizes.
Shopper I'm 5'10", 165lbs, ~42" chest. Some people have mentioned that these tend to run a little small. Would a Medium/Large be the best choice for me?
WILLIAM M I'm 5'7" 175lbs with a 44" chest and it fits me very well. There is definatly some spare length so I would think it should fit you also.
EDGAR C I recently purchased this package. I'm 5'9", 175lbs, 44" chest, 32" waist. I purchased the med/large size. It fits very snug the first few times I guess due to the 7mm neoprene haven't compressed yet. Like a glove, it fits snug to tight at first but after some use it fits perfect.
My advice is if your size falls (for example) on a medium but also falls in M/L, go with the next size up. Only drawback to that is that the legs/arms might be a little too long but I prefer it that way since it covers my boot uppers nicely just the way I like it and the arms are no big deal.
CHRIS H this is a great suit! kept me warm in 58 deg quarry water..I had to get the next size bigger than what the sizing chart states..so that is what I would recomemnd to you...get the next size larger....
KARL G Hi, I am 6'1", 175lbs and purchased the Med/Large Long because I have longer arms and legs, and am rather skinny for my height. The suit fits me better than any other one piece I've worn. Its fairly snug for me but I prefer it that way and its not difficult to get on. Considering that, the M/L regular sounds like it would fit you well. Good luck!
MAX G I'm 5'4", 140 lbs, and I use their Med wetsuit (snug fit), so you may even be ok in their Large. But Leisure Pro does have a great return policy. Good luck.
NORMAND L Hello, i'm 5'10" and 185 pounds 46 "chest and i fit in an XL they do run small. I think a large would be a better fit than a medium/large. Hope this helps.
Matt N Hi I'm 5'10" Really should have the 2xl short but I'm thinking this should fit. It' onl 2" in difference. Woudl you agree?
GAIL C The 2 inches shouldn't be an issue. You can always roll up the difference. The main thing is it fist your waist and chest measurements. Hope this helps.
WILLIAM K Sure. I noticed on the suit there is a range that works since the boots cover quite a lot of either skin or overlap the suit. Just putting it on at different times it rides differently depending on how high I get it on my legs in the beginning so a couple of inches shouldn't be a problem.
KYEONG TAE L I think 2xL should fit if your body size is near to standard.
Shopper i am 6'1 195 what size do i need?
KYEONG TAE L The recommended suit size seems to be a little underestimated.
For example, I am 5'8" 150lb large is right size for me.
steve H i am 5'5 165 - 170, 39 inch chest 33 waist what size suit should i get?
ANTHONY F Follow the size chart and you should be fine. From what I saw a medium would be your best bet.
Its a really nice suit. I have had it in winter waters at 36 degrees and was comfortable....getting out was a bit nippley.
Be safe
RODERICK R Pinnacle runs on the small size. Get a suit that is 1-2 times larger than you would normally get. Good luck.
NANCY S HELLO. I THINK THE SIZE FOR HIM WOULD BE LARGE SHORT 2
IT IS NOT TO HARD TO PUT ON OR TAKE OFF. TIGHT IN THE BACK AND CHEST . I BOUGHT THE KING 2 SIZE I AM 5-10 WT.220 WAIST 40 CHEST 42
THE LONG SLEEVES I JUST FOLD BACK GET GLOVES ON. KEEPS ME WARMER. I DONT WANT TO CUT OFF OR SEW THEM.
THE SUIT IS STEAM LINE. I USE A SUPER HAWK DIVE VEST 80 TANK SIDE PONY- BOTTLE ATTACH TO SIDE TANK WITH BAND.--- WT. TO USE IN FRESH WATER 6LBS EACH SIDE POUCH. TOTAL OF 12 LBS. THAT IS GREAT. MAKE DROP DOWN TO TWO FIVE POUND EA. I THINK THE SUIT WOULD BE A GOOD DEAL. TRY IT FOR YOU SELF. GOOD LUCK !!!!
TERRY F Hi Steve I would get a large short for your size Im 5'11' and 220 and a xl short fits me great. You will love this package I've been diving for 30 years and this is the best suit I have ever owned
Shopper Are the boot sizes listed in standard US mens sizes? Will they accomodate a wide (EE) foot?
LeisurePro S Yes, the boots are in men's sizes, but they generally run pretty big. I would recommend a size smaller than your regular shoe size or your regular shoe size if you have an EEE foot.
Shopper I'm 6' 1" tall and weigh 160-165 lbs. What size would I be?
vickryan v I suggest Large Tall, as the wetsuit runs smaller than your typical size. its a small wetsuit, get a big size!
LeisurePro S I would recommend the Medium Tall.
Shopper whats the differences between wetsuits and jumpsuits and is one better than the other for cold water?
LeisurePro S A jumpsuit is simply the name for a one piece wetsuit as opposed to a two piece wetsuit (a jacket + a farmer john). In cold water, a two piece suit might be better, since you then end up with two layers of suit in your torso area.
Shopper The medium/large measurements seems to fit me better than the medium except for the height, i'm 5'6 and the size chart says it's for 5'10-6', should i get the medium/large or just the medium? Thanks.
LeisurePro S It is more important to match your weight than your height and better to have a longer suit than a shorter one! I think you will be okay with the medium/large. If you do end up a little excess material at you ankles or wrists, you can either fit the suit over your boots/gloves or roll the excess up once or twice.
Shopper 1. Does this wetsuit is designed for Cold Water? 2. What is a approximately temperature is require? 3. Where are the zipper is located on the suit (Front or Back)? Regards, Vance Soukkeo
LeisurePro S 7mm suits are made for colder waters from about 50-60 degrees F. The zipper on this suit is located on the back.
