Questions about this item:
j w any way to break these fins down so they will fit into normal travel bags?
JASON V overall length is 37" if you remove the foot pocket you will save 5-7" or so.
GARRETT F To reduce the size, you can remove the blade from the foot pocket and that will reduce the size several inches by the length of the foot pocket. That may be enough to fit them in most travel bags.
FRANCIS B Yes they are easy to take apart and they work great .
TOROS C Yes. You can easily use a philips head screw driver and remove the blades from the foot pockets. The blades are still pretty long, but you do save some length and they are easier to pack that way.
MICHAEL F you can dismantle the fin itself, but you take a big chance in breaking a fin support. if i where you i rather use these fins in your neck of the woods where you can care for them yourself. perhaps you can rent out a piar from a dive shop in your area. either way you still have to pay for some type of sir charge weather its on the plane each way going or coming so why bother travelling with such a fin. Or just ship them to a friend and have them delivered to your hotel room. If you really want to use your fins shipped them to your hotel and insure them for what there worth. either way you have to pay for some thing other wise.
PETER S Yes. The blades can be removed and reinstalled.
Shopper would the blades that come with this fin be considered soft or medium. And do you carry other blades for this boot?
JEREMY G the stingray fins are medium stiffness
Frank L Soft or medium is really a personal evaluation. These are more of a soft to medium fin, instead of a medium to hard fin.
DUSAN J I have filling thay are medium .Foot pocket fits good to me who have shouse size 14/15 .All they are great fins very happy after using them on my vacation in Greece this sumer.
GARRETT F These are my first fins specifically for freediving, but I'm fairly certain these are considered soft. Carbon and fiberglass fins would most certainly be more rigid.
My decision to buy these fins was based more on the footpocket than the blade. I had read (accurate) reviews that this was a comfortable footpocket and I expected I'd be getting stiffer blades down the road, so this was probably the right choice for me.
RAY T I'm just a rank beginner, but, since this is a "lower end" model of Omer's line, I'm pretty sure that this is a pretty soft blade. If this is your first fin, I wouldn't worry about buying another blade. There are other boots that you may want to use should you need stiffer fins.
However, I love this fin and it really does the job for me. I would suggest, as others have, if you use 3 mm fin socks, you buy one size larger.
PETER S They are on the soft side.
You can put virtually any blade with a two-hole arrangement to fasten them to the pockets. Or you could glue blades into the pockets. The pockets have a 22-degree angle.
J.VICTOR L I would call it medium, medium hard, but surely not soft.
JOHN C i would consider it on the soft side, and they do make fiberglass blades for these boots.
Shopper Hi, will these fins be good for a wide foot (4E)?
STACY E I'm 6'8" and wear a size 15 double wide in most shoes. The size 13-15 is very generous in the overall size. I'm able to wear my booties with these fins. Not sure how the smaller size fins mearsure up to the size 15s. Hope this helps. By the way, these fins will get you anywhere you want very fast with little effort. I love'em.
TYLER P My feet are not especially wide, so I cant say for sure. The foot pocket is quiet soft though, which makes them a lot more comfortable than the pair of 7 year-old Milliniums that I have. I wear a size 12 and got the 11-12 size and they fit well.
JOHN C I have wide feet and these were much more comfortable than the Cressi fins. still some pressure on the sides of my feet but they are the best i have found yet (for full foot fins)
RAY T I couldn't answer that because I'm only a D.
JASON V they might be. I am a solid US 15 shoe and the largest size of these fins were way too big. The next size down fits just right over a 2mm sock. I have only worn the old sporasub freedive fins from 15 years ago and the Omer is a much larger pocket. much more comfortable.
KURTIS K Yes I have 9.5 4E feet. They are fine. For use with swim socks, order the next larger size. They are true to size without them.
MIKE P They should be fine, I have a 13.5 wide foot and they fit fine. If the size is a little off you can always play with sock sizes. I use a 2mm dive sock and they fit perfect. But you can get 1mm to 5mm dive socks if you need too.
JONATHAN C These footpockets are wider than other brands like Cressi. The pockets are also very soft, so they conform to your feet well. In the end, only your foot can tell you if they fit you.
Shopper I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
TOROS C For me, it was the foot pocket size. This was the only one that would fit me. Although, I am quite happy with the purchase. It is sturdy, and I like the fact that I can break it down to pack into a smaller pack. I would definitely use it with a sock for comfort.
MIKE P The price was right, all my research showed these were decent fins, and my buddy has a set of millenniums he liked. I think the millenniums have stiffer blades than these but I am happy with the stingrays
KATHLEEN E I bought these fins because they have a soft boot. Very comfortable on your feet (especially bare feet). This is the second pair I bought after my first pair was stolen out of my truck. For the price you cannot get a better freedive fin. I highly recommend them.
JORGE G Very durable and comfortable. Lightweight and fluid. Very good fin for the price. It may lack a bit of power that the millenium posseses but makes up for it in speed and mobility. I've had it for two years and it has seen a lot of wear but they still get the job done.
Shopper How long are these?
LeisurePro S The blades on the Stingray fins are approx. 72 cm long and 22 cm wide.

Whats in the box:Pair of Omer Stingray Full Foot Fins The new Stingray Carbon fins feature carbon fiber blades manufactured using the infusion technology with innovative double vacuum process. Thanks to this technology the carbon fiber stands are impregnated perfectly in the resin without the risk of forming micro bubbles and with an optimal distribution of the resin itself. In addition the percentage of necessary resin is reduced considerably more than before with a great increase in performance characteristics of the blade. The specific carbon fiber strand used was developed specifically for the manufacture of free diving fins and patented. The underlying result is a very comfortable fin, in part thanks to the thermo-rubber foot-pockets, providing high performance to the diver. Aside from not tiring out the diver's legs while kicking on the surface for extended periods the Stingray Carbon blades push the diver the most during descents and ascents even in great depths. The interchangeable blades are25 medium

Small and light weight, yet extremely efficient, the Velocity Full Foot Fins feature our unique Power Enhancing Vents (PEV's) for reduced leg stress and increased velocity. During the fin stroke, water flow is directed through the PEV's. This helps reduce the stress on the divers leg while accelerating water over the blade; resulting in increased velocity. Water movement through the PEV's reduce lateral movement of the fin (wasted energy), increasing the efficiency of the kick. Made from advanced composite materials for ideal flex and memory... more
