Questions about this item:
Shopper Hi I have wide feet size 11.5 4E and will be wearing 5mm socks as the water temp only reaches the high 60's in summer where I live. Will these fins fit and what size would you recommend?
DINO S Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Our IT department has us blocked out of everything. I wear size 12 shoes and have a wide foot. Not sure if as wide as yours. But I have the 10-12 size and I can get in them with a 7mil sock with a little work. I wear 4 mil socks in the summer. Hope that helps.
ROBB S You'll have to try em on, try 43s. Good thing leisure pro has a good exchange policy!
CHRIS P HI,
I wear a size 9 Nike running shoe and my toe is about a 1/4 inch from the end of the shoe. My fins are size 42-43 / 7-8.5, and I use a 3mm sock. the foot pocket is wide, and with all of the Omer products I own I've been able to find a size that fits. I would advise you to buy a size that the size range starts at 11.5. If they are not right LeisurePro will exchange them for the right size. I have had these fins for 6 yrs and really put them to the test. Not one problem. Still kickin!!
NILZETE B I have size 10 feet and i wear 3mm neoprene socks and i bought the 42/44 and it fits me perfect, i used live and freedive in south florida so the water was warm . I hope this helps you, but its up to u to decide what size u wanna go with ...
JUSTIN B As for size, use the sizing chart. I'm pretty sure I got the largest size they had and I'm an 11. They were a bit lose even with socks so I used fin straps too.
JUSTIN B They felt quite true to size if perhaps a bit wide. I would say you are ok.
Shopper how do u take them apart ????
CARLOS R 1.- Unscrew the back of the fins.
2.- Using a flat screwdriver pull away the side clips.
3.- From the begining of the footpockets on both sides you can pull away the rubber insert from the blade.
4.- If you are looking for a good Real 100% Carbon Fiber Blade made In USA go online to DeepApnea
STEVEN M It may be two screws but it's very easy.
STEVEN M There's a phillips head screw underneath the ball of the foot area and the blade slides out of the two edge guides.
MIGUEL H you just slid out each rubber side. Then remove the two screws and slide the whole blade off. not hard to do but takes time.
RONALD R Remove the two stainless steel screws on the underside of the fin and then gently detach the fin from the rubber that wraps around the sides of the fin.
Matej V Hi I will be traveling with these fins quite often. So the travel size matters. I was wondering how difficult is to dismantle and assembly the footpockets and the blades?
Thank you
IVAN P You need a screwdriver to do it. Then it will take about 5 min either to assemble or to disassemble the fins
CHAD G I never dismantled mine, so unfortunately I can't answer that. I have traveled with them and just take them as a carry on and never had an issue with doing so.
RAYMOND J Hi Matej V: The blades can be removed from the foot pocket, but it is a bit difficult, at least at first. I'm sure after you do it a few time, it will be much easier. It might be a good idea to get a few extra clips, as they seem to be a little weak. Ray J
ANDY C I rarely take mine apart, make sure you grease the screws. They come apart easily.
Andy Campbell
ROY P I have never disassembled mine, but I doubt it would make them much smaller to pack since the blades come all the way back to the foot pocket.
in any case these are great fins, I do a lot of spear fishing and after almost 7 years, I am very happy with them.
hope helpful,
TP
BRANKO F It is very easy. Check the type of screw driver that you need and keep it handy.
BJOERN K won't take you longer than 1 min/fin. love these fins.
GENE M R It is not very difficult. You will have to carry a screw driver with you to remove the 2 scres holding the blade in. I have found that the blade clips require a little muscle to get on and off, but seem to hold very well. My suggestion; as i often do when i dont have my big speargun case, is carry them on the plane as my attache! your allways allowed a carry on and a "purse" type bag. I make my fins this bag and stick them inthe overhead compartment. They fit real well!
JOHN P It is a pain to do it every time. I did it once. The next time I carried them on my back pack and on the plane. The last several times I packed them in the suitcase putting the tips down and then bending them. They straightened back out in an hour. They are awesome fins.
ANDY C I love my fins, lots of power. I'd recomend them to any and all. Andy campbell
HENRY K hmmm it's possible
on the 1-10 hassle scale I would say a 6
you need exactly the correct size screwdriver
and you might want to lube the rails lightly with silicone
I just check my free dive gear in the biggest checkable soft duffle
with the fins intact, inside a fin bag, in the duffle, wrapped in the wetsuit

Shopper I wear a size 12 men's. What would the best size for me? Should I get a sock as well?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 10-12. Socks are optional with these closed heeled fins, but lots of people who have them like to wear socks to cut down on rubbing.
Shopper I wear a 10.5 - 11 shoe and will be wearing these fins WITHOUT socks in tropical waters. Would the 9-10 be too small?
LeisurePro S I think the 9-10 should work out fine without a sock.
Shopper hello =) i am interested in purchasing the omer millenium fins but do not understand the sizing listed on your site, i am a US 10.5-11 depending on the shoe, which size does this correspond to and what thickness of sock should i get to accompany the fin?
LeisurePro S You are a size large in these fins, a 3 mm sock like the Blue Reef 3mm Neoprene Sock should fill in any extra space and keep you comfortable.
Shopper i was just wondering what the standard size of these fins are, ie does a large mean a mens U.S. 10-11? mahalo
