Shopper I have the Oceanic Pro Plus 2.1. Will this cable allow me to sync with no problems to MacDive?
RANDY K It will allow you to download to the OceanLog (Oceanic software) for sure. I don't know if you will then have to port it over to MacDive or not. DiveLog 5.0 will allow me to download directly to it's program but I loose some dive data details. None is lost if I import from the OceanLog software so that is the method I use. Hope this helps.
Miyuki S Yes this will work with MacDive but you will need to download the FTDI USB driver. Go to this link http://mac-dive.com/devices.php and scroll down to "Oceanic" to get the link to download the appropriate Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers.
NIGHTOWLS W MacDive does list the Oceanic Pro Plus 2.1 as a supported device. This cable would connect the dive computer to your Mac Device. In the event you buy the cable, and then find out it fails to work, you can utilize the Leisure Pro return policy.
Shopper Does this fit the VEO 3.0? I doesn't look like it would fit the slot.
I have the wrist computer. dont know if it makes a diffrence.

STEPHEN G I have an Oceanic VT 3 computer and I do use the USB cable that came with it to connect to my computer. I unfortunately cannot tell you if it is a universal connector and will also work with the VEO 3.
Probably a question better sent to Oceanic.

TRANSPORT D The software comes with the computer, however, you can easily download updated software from the Oceanic website as I have since lost my original CD.

There are many software packages available. Use your favorite search engine and specify your operating system and you'll find numerous options.
