Shopper Please recommend fit size for me, I'm a Asian woman. what is good for me regular or mini?
SHERRIE C I love this mask. I have a small face, and have trouble finding masks that fit well. This one fits perfect.
LEWIS H I have loaned my regular mask to several females in my dive classes and it has fit each one comfortably. It really is one of the most comfortable masks that I have ever used. I really have no experience with the mini - sorry.
RICHARD D I would recommend a mini if you have a normal to smaller size face. If you have a normal to side face, then a normal works well. The nice thing about the Shadow is the seal is so flexible, it really works well on a number of different face shapes.
JULIE K The mini is definitely for small faces, narrow and with a smaller nose. Because my nose is longer the mask contacts and after a few dives can get slightly sore from the pressure. I would guess regular would fit most people. I keep it as my back up mask.

JERRI M As a woman with a smaller face, I purchased this mask because of the excellent range of view. Unfortunately, it leaked despite several adjustments/efforts. I have since purchased the Aquatic frameless in a medium and have no complaints.

RAYMOND S I use anti-fog spray on all my masks anyway...I like it because it is low-volume.
GEORGE S I've had no problems with fogging at all. I've mostly used this mask in cold water and have been very satisfied
JEFF R Not sure what you bare asking. All masks fog up. To prevent fogging you should apply a defogger fluid (I use baby shampoo) to the inside, rub it on the glass, and barely rinse it off. You need to leave a film of the defogger on the glass to prevent fogging. Do this before every dive and fogging won't be a problem. Hope this helps.
WILLIAM G All masks will fog. A little defog solution, or some good old fashion spit will take care of that.
MIRON D Nothing special here. Depends on environment. It's fine as long as you treat it with the usual (shampoo/anti-fog)
SCOTT B All masks fog without using something like joy soap, or baby shampoo....I use Mares anti fog. Great mask, low profile, easy to pack.
I like the mask and both me and my daughter use them. She is a dive master.
Shopper How can you tell which size is right for you?
ALBERT K Unless you have a very small face, I would get the regular size. It is a great comfortable mask. I have been using mine for about 4 years and have no plans on replacing it any time soon. If I had to replace it, I would get another Shadow mask.
JAKE L They make a small version but the shadow's frameless design means it's flexible to fit a wide variety of faces. I've had mine for years and love it!
KRISTINA J I have a narrow face and a nose that protrudes out and down. My wife has a round face with a normal nose. The adult size fits both of us well.
Shopper What color of the strap does the clear mask come with? And will the clear mask change color, like to yellow when use for some time?
CHRIS S My Shadows came with black neoprene straps. I purchased a black and a clear silicone mask at the same time about 4 years ago, and have logged about 80 dives usually with the black as a primary and the clear in a thigh ouch for a backup, though I occasionally dive the clear just to make sure it's in good shape. There has been no yellowing of the silicone at all so far, and they are to date my favorite masks that I have used in a pretty active 20 years of diving. Hope this is helpful.
RAYMOND S the one I have came with all-black...black skirt, black strap. i love this mask because it is low-volume...the quality is good. several of my buddies in the group use the same model. Hope this helps.
CHRISTIAN A The strap is black on the exposed side, and grey on the inside. I have not noticed any chamnge in lens color and this has been my primary mask since 2006 (5 years now). The mask works as well now as it does when I first bought it, and I just used it last weekend. There has been no cracking or degrading of the silicon, and no issues with the seal. This is a great mask, I highly recommend it as a back up or primary mask.
Shopper I have a small face and find other masks too big to get a comfortable fit. I take a size extra small in motorbike helmet. A friend recommended this, has any small faced person tried one?
ALBERT K I don't have a small face, but this is a fantastic, low volume mask. Comfortable with a nice soft skirt and neoprene strap and has a very good field of vision. almost fits my 4.5 year old's face and I believe it can be ordered is a smaller size than I have.
TIMOTHY Y Our family is small framed and the Oceanic Mini-Shadow Mask would be a better choice for the small framed face. It fits closer to the face and is not as inclined to leaking from sudden movements because it fits more snugly. Oceanic makes some great masks, once the style is decided on you won't be disappointed.
JEFF R My face isn't small but it is narrow. Most masks on my face leak on each side because they are made for a "rounder" face. I've had no problems with the Oceanic mask. I'm a divemaster and for two years in Hawaii dove this mask non-stop and would recommend it. Just be sure to put it on in the store without the strap, draw a slight suction by inhaling thru your nose and listen for any air leaks. Also take note during this test that there are no pressure points around the perimeter that will make your face sore after awhile. Dive safe! Regards from Jeff

MALCOLM K I suggest the Mini -Shadow. I have used it with students that were children. They worked perfectly. The shadow series, in my opinion, is the best mask made. I recommend it to everyone.
WILLIAM G They make this same mask in a mini version. I had the same issue. The standard Oceanic Shadow as too wide for my face, the Oceanic Shadow Mini fit perfectly and no more leaking! It's a great mask, I'll buy another when this once craps out (at this rate that'll be several years from now).
