Questions about this item:
Shopper Hi I wear an 8.5 and my husband wears a 10.5 and we will be wearing 3mm dive socks. What sizes will we need?
ROBERT R I wear a size 9.5 with 3mm boots and the regular fits me great.
ROBERT R I wear a size 9.5 and the regular size fits great.
JOSE G If I understood you question right, you are asking about wat size to buy. The chart provided in the web site is very accuerate. I wear a 10.5 boots and the size I picked was regular which fits great. As for the 8.5, just go to the chart. These are great fins. Enjoy them!!!
Steve S For you I recommend a size Small. For your husband I recommend a size Regular.
Shopper Would Tusa spring straps fit these? Also, do the size differ only by dimensions of foot pocket or actually by fin length?
JOHN C Not sure if the tusa spring straps will work on these fins. Your best bet is to buy universal spring straps. I bought a pair of XS spring straps and they fit the fin just fine. The different sizes is the foot pocket. Most fins stay around the same length.
Linda F I wear a women's size 8 or 81/2. what size fin do you suggest i get?
WENDY W I have an extra small pair and i am a womens size 7 1/2-8. I hope this helps!
ROBERT W Large, I guess.
Linda F Really??? On the sizing chart an extra small is women 5-7 and a small behind at size 9, I take an 8 or 8 1/2, so why would I get a large??
ROBERT W You need extra room when you dive dry.
Ray K How does the flexibility of the open heel version of the Oceanic Viper compare to the full foot model? I own a full foot pair but need a fin to wear with boots.
ROBERT R I have used these for a couple of years. As long as you wear boots, they are great.
C L is the yellow color of this fin the color "yellow" or a NEON Yellow?
LEE R I guess you would call this bright yellow "neon". Matches a tank of the same color. Never took mine out of the bag - wanna buy? scubagasm_at_yahoo_d0t_com
C L if you look at the aqua lungs they have a "Neon Yellow" fin... I am looking for Neon Yellow. Many scuba accessories come as either Yellow or Neon Yellow. Too many varing answers on the actual color so I will keep looking. Thanks to all who answered :)
ANDREW C I would call it a bright yellow.
SAM S JUST YELLOW - VERY GOOD PRODUCT - I REALLY LIKE THEM - USE EVERY SUMMER.- LOOKS GREAT.
BRUCE D Its more of a neon yellow. Its not like sun yellow, if thats what you mean. Its a cool color yellow that shows up well underwater especially if you come close to losing a fin as I have in the past. I hope this helps!
ANDREI C I do not know what "NEON yellow" is, but the color is basically as pictured
RHEA Z To me they are a yellow not neon.
Shopper Can these straps be changed out for spring straps?
ANDREI C Yes, the are standard.
JAY H W Yes you can ues spring straps. I looked at mine but can't tell who the manufacture is. I would look at Oceanic's webb site for more information
HELMUTH C I don't see why not as long as you get replacement spring straps that are compatible with the fin.
Regards,
BILL T Yes you can use spring straps.
George S Wear a men's size 8.5 shoe, will be using a 3mm blue reef dive slipper
what size fin would you recommend?
ROBERT R I wear a size 9.5 shoe size with a 3mm dive boot and I use a regular size fin. With a size 8.5, that will be hard to judge. Either a small or regular? I guessing that a small will fit pretty snug and a regular will fell a little big. The straps are adjustable, so overall I would probably order the regular. I also have an old pair I bought off of ebay years ago and it was a large and too big for a size 9.5 foot but with the adjustment straps it still worked fine. So, in the end I would order a regular. Hope this helps.
Anmari K Hello, my husband wears 10.5, but has very wide foot (3E-5E) and has always used larger fins, so they can fit him. Any suggestions? He would use those without a boot for snorkeling only. Thank you!
ROBERT R I bought the regular size. My foot size is a 9.5 wide and I wear a boot when scuba diving. They fit just fine. If he does not wear a boot, he might get buy with the regular size. With Leisure Pro, you can always send them back if they do not fit right. Hope this Helps.
RODERICK K These fins provide more then adequate room for a wide foot. I use mine with boots and have 10.5 average width feet.
ERIK H I also have a wide foot and the standard size worked fine. I would say dont use these with out boots... ive tried barefoot... alittle stiff, and uncomfortable. I would go with a fitted fin if your just gonna use bare feet..
DEAN B I wear 14 4E shoes. I wear boots with these and they fit fine with no "pinch" on my foot. I have never used them without wearing a boot, and don't like the feel of open heal fins not wearing a boot. I keep the straps loose, as my boots have a lip that keeps them from falling off the heal and floating away. Have come in through surf while shore diving and never had them slip off.
Shopper What are the dimensions of the small fin?
JAY H W I like the viper fins. We went to Bonaire and was told to have heavy boots for shore entry and all our fins were full footed so we decided on the vipers because we own other Oceanic equipment and found it to be well designed.
JOHN C The fins that I bought where regular size, so the difference in dimensions should be only the foot pocket. The total length of the fin is 25 inches and the widest part of the blade is 9 inches. My shoe size is around 9 1/2 mens.
I hope this helps you out.
DAVID L I can tell you they are easy to pack and do a great job drift diving in coz. As for the dimensions I leave my gear in coz, sorry. Dave
e
Shopper Im wearing size 9 boots, which size should i choose for the fins cos i see the size charts and the fins size selection is different. Should i choose small/medium?
RODERICK K I'd go for the medium size fins.
KELLY M I wear a size 6 1/2-7 and bought small. They fit great. By the way, I own 4 different pair of fins and my vipers are my favorite
BRUCE D If you wear a size 9 men's boot, I would recommend size medium. Hope this helps. The fins are great by the way!
SHAWN A I wear size 9 boots and S/M fit perfect.
ERIK H I wear a size 10-10.5 and i purchased an XL cuase thats what it recommended at the time but they are to big (with a boot on).. by about 1 size, Large would have fit me great. I would say go with the medium.
PAUL S Small/Medium is for shoe size 7-10
Shopper Do these fins have a LEFT and a RIGHT or can both be worn on either foot?
LeisurePro S Yes, the fins are interchangeable.
Shopper How long are the blades?
LeisurePro S These fins are approx. 22 inches.
Shopper What is the weight of a pair of the XS Vector fins?
LeisurePro S These are approx. 3 pounds.
Shopper What size fine would best fit my wife? She wears an 8.
LeisurePro S I would recommend an xsmall.
Shopper I wear Mares Trilastic 5mm Dive Boots size 7, Which size would be perfect ? And for Tusa Imprex 3MM Dive Slipper size 7 too.
LeisurePro S I would recommend a small for a man and an xsmall for a women to be worn with either boot.
Shopper Hi. my foot size is 11 1/2, I want to know is a regular size in oceanic viper open heel fit me , thanks
LeisurePro S You would be best off in the medium.
Shopper How much do a pair of mens regular weigh?
