Shopper What is the overall length of these fins in XSmall size?
Steve S These fins are about 24 inches in length. These are really great split fins!
Joe S This fin in XS is just under 24 inches. Not including the strap. The strap comes off though, so not an issue.
Shopper i am a male and wear size 10.5 pinnicle 7mm boot what size do i need?
Joe S You would need the size XL if you are wearing a thick sole boot like a sneaker. Size Regular if you are wearing a regular scuba boot with the standard sole.

RICHARD H Hi, not sure about the color, I've never seen the pink ones. Yes on the size. These are very roomy but also very forgiving the way they are designed with the spring strap. The bigger size would probably fall off. You will love these. They are very comfy. Good luck. Rick
RAYMOND M I would get small or better yet a medium. I think the blue is a better color
ROY J Can not help much== I have size 10 male feet and have blue model==suspect pink would have same configuration. Fins are OK but I would advise doing some online research and speaking to more experienced divers as to their preferences prior to making this purchase.

Reiko R Thank you, Roy:) I have asked my friends about their choice, too. It seems the opinions vary from one person to another... one of my female friend who is a dive instructor with more than 4500 tanks likes split fins, the other instructor (female) likes the paddle style, etc. LOL I have only dove 100 tanks so far and past 3-4 years I was using my Sherwood Kinesis and I love them very much. They are powerful and don't make my ankles tired. But, I wanted to try split fins if I can do frog kicks with them. My next trip is next year so I have time to think about...:)
JOACHIM M I have size 8 (male) and use size S on these fins. Have used them perhaps 4-6 times because I was curious about splits, but switched back to paddle. Nothing beats that.
Reiko R Thank you,Joachim. I see, they are not for everyone. I have to remember that. Probably I won't know if they are for me until I use them in a water with strong current, too. Ummm. I might be burning my hard earned money but I am still curious about these...!
TIMOTHY H XS is the size you need. The XS fits female 7-9 shoe size, so this should be fine. As for the color, it would be a solid color, and probably the same color as the pink Oceanic V-Flex Open Heel Fins (has a picture with pink). You will not want to dive with anything else after using these. Especially with the spring straps. Makes putting on and taking off the fins so much more easy, and they are comfortable.
TIMOTHY H I'm envious of you being able to dive in Cozumel. Would love to go there sometime, but I'm a bit too far away. As for the Vortex fins, I went to these from using the Oceanic Vipers which I really like. But, the moment I put these on, they had me. I'll never go back (unless in an emergency). You will love them I'm sure. Let me know how they do for you if you do get them.

Reiko R Thank you, Timothy! I mainly dive in Cozumel and most of the times the current is very strong. Currently I wear paddle style from Sherwood (Kinesis - discontinued) and I love the power for the fins. But, I felt envious when some divers can do the frog kicks etc:) Kinesis has very easy strap system to on/off as well, but it is nice to know this one has the excellent strap system. Like the a bit unusual color like pink so that it is easy to spot them on a boat:) Thank you very much for your answer it was very helpful!
Reiko R Hi Tim, Thank you very much for your detailed explanation! Yeah I wanted to try this pair even though I have been happy with my paddle pair (Sherwood Kinesis) in the past 4 years. (they are hardy, too) I go to Cozumel 2-3 in a year depending on my vacation availability (next year will be only 2...). It take one whole day basically to get there but it is worth it so much! The beautiful corals, incredible food and really nice people and island:)

DINO S For free diving I would never use a split fin. I have never dove with split fins, but I do have a buddy that does and they do not seem very efficent at all.
Eric L Actually i have the mares x-stream but it's very hard to remove this fins when i put with my drysuit. (suction phenomenon) I want to know the width and height of the boot to compare with mares? Thanks
Monica s Thats strange that you are having that experience given that there are holes at the top of the foot pocket as well and channes at the bottom to prevent that exactly. If you want to email me directly let me know what size and I will see about getting you some measurements. It may be that you have a lot of rubber around your sole with may stick more to the fin when trying to pull the fin off, if you want send me an email and I'll help you figure it out. monicas@leisurepro.com

1. My shoe size is 8, and I will use medium (8-9) neoprene fin socks (tilos). What size of fins could you recommed me?
2. From my finding looking for choose a pair of fins, I learned that the Oceanic V16 could be " with Spring Straps" or "with Spring Heel Straps"... could you explain the difference?? which one is better?
3. After buy the fins socks and the oceanic v16, do I need another accessory?

BENITO C they are very good, the only problem I use size 10 but take size 12 for the my boot. I am happy with Oceanic V16 with the Spring Straps.

LeisurePro S The difference is more the composition of the blade. The V-12 is a solid rubber split fin (great for kicking with limited effort) while the V-16 is a plastic fin that has a stiffer feel than the V-12. The V-16 gives you more thrust and performs better in strong currents.
