Questions about this item:
Shopper Is this compatible with Aeris EX 200 Back Inflation BCD ?
SCOTT S It should be. It's compatible with my Aeris Atmos LX. My understanding is that it's compatible with Aeris, Oceanic and may others without having to use an adapter or change out the fitting. The techs at LP can give you a definitive answer, I'm sure.
Miyuki S Yes this compatible with Aeris EX 200 Back Inflation BCD. Awesome for travel! One less hose!
Sharon S Is this compatible with my LadyHawk ScubaPro BCD? If not, can you recommend one that is?
Joe S Hi Sharon. The Air XS is not compatible with the LadyHawk. The corrugated hoses are two different sizes that would attach to it. I would recommend an Oceanic BC or the Scuba Pro Air 2 Octo/Inflator.
RICHARD W I have had this piece of equipment for several years now and find it has worked faithfully for all of that time. It helps reduce the number of hoses dangling from you while you dive and that is essential since I do underwater photography while I dive. I don't know if it will fit your set up but the only concern is the connector with your BCD. I think they are mostly universal. Check with your local Dive Shop to be sure of the hose fit. You may also need a different length of pressure hose for the coupling.
Good luck and happy Diving...
Miyuki S It is not compatible with the Ladyhawk. You need the Scubapro Air 2. SKU: SCPA2GYR
TOM P It will work but if you are not sure how to make the connections take it to your local dive shop.
Regards
ERIC S I don't know as I don't have a LadyHawk ScubaPro. I have an Oceanic BCD. But it should be. Just make sure that the connectors are compatible and get the right length as there are a couple to choose from.
LAWRENCE W It's compatible with lots of BCD. However, I don't have it any more. I switched to Atomic SS1, which in my opinion is a much better octo/inflator.
Shopper Are the lengths specified referring to the length of the hose section only or is it completely end to end? I want to replace the XS unit I have and it measures 18" on the hose section only.
Monica s The measurement is the corrugated hose, not end to end.
TERRY M sorry but i cant answer the question. i had the xs hose assbly replaced at a local scuba parts supply/repair so that it would hang over my breast, like the pictures instead of nearer my waist and I'm 6'1"
Shopper Does it work with cressi travel light?
JOSEPH K This unit attaches to the BC with a standard screw on mount. It uses the standard inflator low pressure hose. I use this unit on my travel BC and an Scubapro Air 2 on my regular BC. The Oceanic unit is much lighter for travel. The unit has always worked well.
STEVEN H Hi, that was 5 years ago and hundreds of dives ago. I don't know the answer to your question. I now use a Aqua Lung Legend. Ask the Leisure Pro expert. They are pretty sharp.
Steve.
Shopper With this fit onto a halcyon ECL bcd?
DARLENE G No, sorry I can't help
DR STEPHEN K That's what we put ours on
thanks..
LAWRENCE W Don't know if it will fit the Halcyin BCD but I'm assuming that it would since it's the same company as Oceanic. I got rid of mine and bought a Atomic integrated octo. Which I like much better.
David B Will this work with a Halcyon wing?
GENE G Not sure, but I bet it will. The reason I am responding is because I put one on a wing (Oxycheq). I want you to realize that wings come with a very powerful inflator and alternate airsources are not as powerful. The benefit is a backup second stage without an octo, but the inflation is slower and takes getting used to.
Shopper Is it possible to just buy the LP hose? Mine got split and I need a new one.
LeisurePro S Sure--you can buy a low pressure hose here or if you need one with the quick disconnect, here.
Shopper I have an Oceanic Islander BCD. Will this work with it?
Shopper Can you tell me what length I need for a oceanic hera bc?
LeisurePro S You choose the length according to your BCD size. XS takes a 14"; S, M, L takes a 16"; XL, XXL takes an 18"; anything larger will take a 20". Happy Thanksgiving!
Shopper will this product fit my my cressi sub aqualight R BCD
LeisurePro S Sorry no, the only options you have for a Cressi BC are sku's OCNAXL and AERALL. Or something like the SWDSPO which is universal.
Shopper How will this product perform in really cold water (ice diving) ? Like sub zero surface and under 40 fahrenheit below surface?
LeisurePro S This combo has been reviewed as okay to use in colder water, but there are mixed opinions as to whether combo inflators are okay for ice diving. Some people will tell you that you absolutley need to have a seperate extreme cold rated octo, while others will say that they have gone ice diving with their combo octos many times with no problem. As far as this one particular combo goes, it is one of the better combos you can buy, so it's really up to you and how many extra layers of security you feel you need. Hope this helps!
Shopper will this regulator / inflator combo work on a Aqualung pro limited

Whats in the box:Air XS, QD Low Pressure Hose When you took dive lessons you learned to perform specific skills to make you safe and comfortable underwater and at the surface. One of those skills was buoyancy control. Once you start diving for fun you use your buoyancy control devise constantly throughout the dive. Your Octopus or Alternate Air Source devise on the other hand is never used unless there is an Emergency Out of Air Situation. Reacting properly in an Out of Air Situation can make the difference between an eventful dive and a tragedy. If your alternate air source and your BCD inflator devise are one and the same you will always know where to find it in an emergency. The Air XS 2 is two devises in one - an extra second stage and a power inflator. Since it's at the end of your BCD inflator hose, it's always easy to find. Using the Air XS 2 is simple. Pressing the oblong blue button inflates your BC; pressing the round blue purge button expels water from the extra second stage so you can breathe from it. To inflate ate or deflate the BCD manually, use the button at the very end of the unit. Weighing 7.9 ounces, the Air Xs has a compact yet sturdy housing less than four inches in diameter. It can be used with nitrox mixtures up to 40 percent.
- Lightweight and Compact Design

The Aquatec Air-3 Inflator replaces the conventional BC power inflator and second stage octopus by combining the functions of both into a single unit. It also is unique in that it also incorporates the Sub-Alert underwater horn. When you're taught how to dive you are given practice in buoyancy control more than any other skill. Once you start to dive every time you go underwater, fin the reef, or surface you use buoyancy control. All this time your octopus second stage regulator hangs un-used and out of mind. When a real life out-of-air situation occurs, the stress and anxiety mounts... more
