Questions about this item:
Shopper What is the length of the band? In short, will it fit over a five mil wetsuit sleeve?
ERIC W I was able to fit it over my 5mil just barely (I wear a large men's suit).
It will not fit over a 7 mil; however, the box comes with an extender that is easy to attach and allow it to fit over a 7 mil wetsuit plus 5 mil gauntlet gloves.
RYAN B Yes. The regular band is long enough to fit over my 5 mm suit. It also ships (at least mine did) with a band extension which could make the band huge if used. I have not used it as the regular band fit over my 5 mm just fine.
NICHOLAS D It fit over my wrist with a 5mm suit on. But I recommend changing bands out from the original to a more secure velcro band.
DIONYSIOS A Yes it should. I wear mine over a 5.5 smoothskin neoprene with no problem.
MANFREE A The watch comes with an extension strap you add to the normal strap which will provide you with the lengh for your wet suit. This is quite a good arrangement. The only thing I criticise is that the basic watch strap (for my arms) should be about 1/2 inch longer.
LUCIE P The watch will fit over a 5mm wetsuit if you have "normal" wrists, and if you are built like Popeye, there is an extension included that will allow you to expand the watch to fit a very large wrist. That being said, I ditched the band in favor of a velcro type band from Oceanic. I found that the buckle on this one would snag on things while free diving and it popped loose a couple of times almost losing the watch. With an Oceanic velcro band (about $10) I no longer have this problem.
LUCIE P This was bought as a gift for my son, (who is currently on a business trip) but I have forwarded your question to him. I'm sure he will respond in about a week and a half.
MICHAEL S I just got out from diving today and wore a 5ml glove over a 5ml riffe cryptic camo wetsuit. I had the watch on with the hook/arm though the 2nd hole. I am 5'11" and 190lbs. I would describe myself as medium boned with small wrists. I have done hundreds and hundreds of dives with this watch and I love it. I dive in 44F in winter and 54 in summer. I ussually wear thinner gloves but mine were frayed badly thus i used my partners. I dont know if Aeris makes a longer strap, but if they do get one. You cannot use a regular strap on this watch as the holding pins are inside the body, hence you will not be abloe to thread it through. These warm water folks really need to consider the temperate climes more in their development. Great watch-the best I've used bar none.
JONAH L I wear mine over a 7 mm suit and 3mm gauntlet style glove, my wrist measures 7 inches circumference. it is on the second to last hole in the standard band. It also comes with a band extender, but I don't use it.
GEORGE M Yes it should go over fine it does on my 7mill and you can allway's add the band extender that comes with it if you need more length. Great watch highly recommend it love mine
STEVE R It comes with an extension. With the extension it will fit over a 5 mm wetsuit.
JOAO C Yes, i use mine under a 7mm sleeve.
HUBERT H It would also depend on the size of your wrist but either way it brings a second strap. The second strap connects to the one already on the watch. It would fit on any wetsuit since it becomes more than double the original length.
BRIAN S The watch band itself doesn't have much space left on it when worn over my 3.5mm suit and glove, but it comes with an extender band that my friend has used on his 7mm suit before without complaint.
KRIS M Yes. It comes with a band extension.
SEAN C It comes with an wetsuit extension. My wrist is 7.25" and I wear a 3mm open cell with plenty of room to let out in the strap and extension.
Bernardo S this model is sure to v.2? I buy you send via fedex for Brazil ?
David R Yes, we ship to Brazil as shown on the country list on our shopping cart page. and it is the latest model computer
MANFREE A My name is Manfred and I use the watch exclusivly for freediving. I'm very satisfied with the watch at the price it was offered. The only issue I have is the face protector foil is larger in diameter then the crystal, thus it won't fit and the watch strap is too short for my arm. I have to wear it on the last hole of the strap. Other than this, I'm very happy with the watch. Had a Suunto D4 before and could not replace the black watch strap which broke from US suyppliers. When I called Suunto in Finnland, I was told they cant send me one because of purchase agreements with US. Lost watch while carrying it around in pant-pockets! I think the Aeris is a better deal, in spite of the issues......
CHAD G Yes, this it the v.2 model.
JOAO C Boas
Fala em portugues que nao percebi a sua quest?o.
Abra?o
Charles K Do the ones you have in stock have the newest software upgrade? I believe v.2?
Shopper Can this be switched to display in metric units?
LeisurePro S Yes, units are set by the user.
Shopper What is the battery life?
LeisurePro S Battery life is approx. 300 hours as a Dive Gauge and up to one year with use as a watch only. it uses a CR-2430 battery.
Shopper Can all dive alarms be disabled so that there is no beeping when free diving for fish?
LeisurePro S Yes, you can set the audible alarms to OFF.

Whats in the box:Computer Watch, Owner's Manual The AERIS F.10 was designed by free-divers for free-divers. Martin Stepanek founder of the Free-Diving Instructors International FII, says this about the F.10. The F.10 has many free-diving specific features including a wide variety of convenient alarms. It's ideally suited for all types of breath-hold diving, spear fishing or free-diving, recreational to competitive. I've personally been diving with this computer for the past 14 months and find the repetitive depth alarm to be of specific value as it can track each atmosphere. The F.10 also features a surface interval alarm which is very beneficial during my interval training for competitive free-diving. It has a unique safety feature of an on-going stopwatch so whilst in-water my running time does not get erased if the computer becomes submerged-unlike with any other free-diving computer. Right now, this is simply the best free-diving computer on the market period. The F.10 is designed to be both a digital gauge for free diving and can be used as a wrist watch. Features of the watch are dual time, hour differential for alternate time zone, countdown timer, chronograph (stop watch, run/lap timer) and daily alarms. In the Free-Dive Mode the F.10 has a surface mode, dive log that stores 99 of the most recent dives, history, set alarms and utilities mode. When diving with the F.10 the computer will show the dive number, current depth from 0 to 330' (0 to 100 meters) maximum depth obtained, elapsed dive time, surface interval time and temperature. The F.10 will automatically adjust for altitude when required. The F.10 is powered by a user replaceable 3 volt CR2430 Lithium battery with an expected battery life of 300 hours when used for both diving and as a watch. The F.10 comes with a comprehensive owner's manual and a 24 month limited warranty. Martin Stepanek Multiple World Record Holder F.I.I.
